The USDM verts have a rubber/vinyl boot that simply snaps on and rests over the tops hardware. Dont know about avail through Nissan, but they do pop up on the forums and eBay for sale. |

ive been wanting a vert for sooo long. there have been multiple times in the last couple of months where i almost purchased one. either needing to be towed or barely running. hahaha. but the deal never seemed right. and as someone stated, theft would definitely be a big issue for me. especially in my neighborhood. summer. perfect time to cruise in a dope ass vert. there are some nice cars being posted so far. im loving the white vert with the huge meisters.

some guys went back & took pics a while back. the entire chassis area where it bolts all that stuff up is totally different than the coupe/usdm vert.

I think the JDM vert is a vert from the factory. A USDM vert is a coupe imported half built and then delivered to American Specialty Cars, where it was turned into a convertible. The design is different.

rear quarter panels truck entire top assembly mounts storage area truck area chassis supports motors pumps quarter windows quarter window motors quarter window controls/wiring the cover (obviously) back seats rear interior panels top of the window frame and assembly Basically like stated above, short of finding a rear clip and cutting your car in half in favor of welding a JDM rear vert clip to it, its not going to happen. And here:

Heres a more recent pic of mine. I like these wheels a lot better then the old gold ones. and i dont know if i would rock the top cover on mine. i mean it looks way clean but prob would have to make your own. I been debating about trying to make a hard top.....what do you guys think?

This with spacers is probably the best vert I've seen and it still would look like poo.

This is not the "Hey, I have a convertible, let me show you pics of a stock ass car" Thread. This is the "Dope Vert Thread". This is for pictures of BUILT cars, that happen to be topless. If your car is not BUILT, then post it in the picture thread and come back here to get inspiration.
