Anyone watching Knights of Sidonia?
CGI issues aside, I think this may be the best show of the season so far.

SAO started out pretty good, but just turned into another romance anime, and the romance wasnt even good it was super forced, the shows writing was bad, the characters were useless and forgettable.and don't get me started on that second season.

It is a nicely polished and well done show but I feel like it sticks to a very true-and-tried formula.

KOS surprised me because it jumps into action from the very beginning while providing just enough character development, plot points and interesting sci-fi concepts to keep me hooked. It is a well balanced show.

Mushishi season 2. Highly recommend checking out this anime. If you haven't seen the first season now is a good time to start!

Space Dandy has been hit or miss for me.
I've really liked a couple of the episodes but somehow I feel that the show could be better.
It lacks cohesion and many of the background characters are hollow.
(what is the deal with the gorilla and skull dudes that are after him? or the lady from the alien registration office that is featured in the opening but has only been onscreen for a few minutes?)

BTW Attack on Titan comes on Cartoon Network during Toonami on Saturday nights. I watched an episode of it while i was at the gym. I really need to watch it from the beginning to understand it.

Just finished Sword Art Online pretty good but so short! Attack on Titan is crazy good! Anybody else recommend some that's good with good animation?
