Hm, yeah that would be pretty dumb if he was actually claiming it to be a jdm import. But he’s not.
It says it’s a USDM car that a Japanese man had imported to japan.
Car was then exported from Japan where it returned to the US.
Says he just thought it was a cool story and has all the documents to prove both trips the car made.

I know the owner personally and just like Supa/Almighty stated, the car was sold here in the US, but the original owner had it shipped to Japan (I forget if it was for personal use or work), then shipped back to the US again.

He has a ton of service records since new. Other than paint, it’s a really clean Zenki.
