It's generally terrible. There are a few old school exceptions, but for the most part dubbed anime is pumped out these days. Terrible animation match, butchery and Political Correctness censoring and they use the same 4 voice actors for EVERY ANIME EVER... EVER.

Sorry... Sheesh. Lol I only asked because I have a somewhat of a hard time reading subs without my glasses so im having to squint all the way through now.

I noticed this. Its always the same

The guy from dbz who did vega and piccilo always does the tough guy voices

There is the guy who did the voice for sergent frog, always places the eccentric and/or sleazy character

The guy from inital d who drove the n/a silvia and was whiny, plays the whiny role in ever anime. I hate his voice so much.

Then one random voice you will never hear again.

The only things I remember seeing dubbed were in the early 90s since there literally wasn't another alternative other than learning Japanese and buying import laserdiscs for shows that weren't fansubbed.
I think shitty dubs is the reason why I never finished Ranma. It blows my mind to think that we can see shows subbed in high definition the day they air these days.

steve blum can voice act for every god damn character of every god damn anime. i would still watch that shit. he's the guy who did mugen from samurai champloo, kt from initial d, and kazuma from scryed. among other really popular shows, such as shishio makoto from rurouni kenshin.

recap eps are different from fillers imo. gintama is the king of recap eps lol. or just doing abso-fuckin-lutely nothing for an entire episode, and still being worth a watch.

Kill la Kill is constantly at a climax at this point. Some weird sexual references but not as bad as HOTD. I like it

Hajime No Ippo...getting crazy during the takamura title fight. Love this series.

Space Dandy is just constantly on a weird tangent despite not having a real storyline, its awkwardly amazing.

Really? I thought just the opposite. The innuendos embarrassed me to the point of disinterest. In the first episode, when her school friend takes her home after the boxer kicked her ass, did they ever explain what that girl's drooling father was doing when she woke up? I was like... "Did they just make a joke about him raping her? WTF Japan?"Yeah... that show is way worse the HOTD, IMO. It goes beyond fanservice, into ecchi territory. So true. HOTD was totally ruined bit the torpedo boobs and fan service.

Why can't we just have a legit survivor horror zombie anime with out all the stupid?

Look how awesome AOT is. You know why it's awesome? It's devoid of all the stupid silliness that normally infiltrates all anime.

Hotd was entertaining, action was cool, some fan service, but hilarious fan service. I haven't watched passed the first series though. Is there even a second? There is a line to be drawn though, the rape reference^.
