I was wondering if all Apexi FC Commanders are universal and fit on any FC computer?

Serial Number for Commander: FCC3 020-14308
Apexi Power FC ECU for SR20DET

Maybe you should look on the other side? You have a good land mark to go off, slip your hand up there and check.

Can't. HVAC stuff is in the way... even if I could it's hard to tell where that is exactly because of the firewall insulation.

Edit: Was able to just barely reach my hand up there and seemed like I had some room so bought a right angle drill adapter (so cool... wish I knew about those things earlier) and drilled a small hole to get an idea of how close it was to the HVAC stuff. I had to move the hole down a little but ended up working out after drilling it out with a step drill.

Okay guys, just today my car started making this squeaky sound (when the body bounces up and down). It's coming from inside the driver's side rear wheel well. I stand on my bumper and bounce the car up and down to produce the noise:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jfvqn...ature=youtu.be

Any of you ever experience this? What would be your best guesses? Could an aftermarket coilover produce this sound?

Won't be able to remove the wheel and look under there until Thursday; busy most of the day tomorrow. Just trying to get some input before I look down there myself.

Any help is much appreciated!

what is considered a "safe" amount that you can typically pull a s13 coupe rear 1/4 panel before it buckles? I know it's not a straight across the board issue, but with proper heat and time but .25 to .5" should be possible correct?

Well, if you're not going to define your idea of "cheaply made" and ridiculously expensive," we'll go by my definition.

I suggest Powered By Max/Parts Shop Max Pro Coilovers - $1350. They also have PBM/PSM Competition Coilovers, which are in general more stiff than their Pro Coilovers, and they go for $1000. Not including shipping and/or tax. I used to be 20 min. away from them, so I just picked mine up.

I run Pros on my S13, have been for a year and 5 days now (lol just missed my anniversary with them), and they work pretty great for the price.

That depends on if the car is painted or sanded down to the metal on the fenders. Heat, lots of heat, and you can pull those bitches out 1" like the bubble on a twerking hip hop dancer. Cold, maybe 0.5", and with an aggressive roll you can clear some pretty wide stuff.
It all depends though if you want to repaint and use the torch to stretch the metal

I'm looking for an ignition wire on S13(91-94) on the passenger side. Which one is it?

Blue with orange stripe in here?

Or black with red stripe by the goose neck?

I went with top feed ID1000cc Injectors merely to have room to grow in the future. Getting top feeds, along with a top feed rail ran me about 550-600 or so. Side feeds you can just buy and drop in without much trouble, but the injectors themselves are more expensive for a comparable volume injector.

18g
I don't think Nissan used 20g or heavy 16g, and the rear half outside feels like it's all 18g(nose cut to the wheelwell seams on the passenger side, less on the driver's side)

Thanks. And if I get a top feed fuel rail, does it pair with a specific fuel injector, or will any top feed fuel injector for the s13 sr fit?

So, I found a used SARD top feed fuel rail with RC 750cc injectors... Thoughts?

Will this directly fit on my car with the stock intake manifold setup, etc? or do I need to upgrade the manifold?

In other words, what would i need to get SARD top-feed fuel rail with the RC750cc injectors to work on my car?

Thanks,
Art

Man I hope someone can get me this answer.

I have 04' to 06' USDM Subaru Side Feed Injectors, the yellow ones, had them flow tested at 530cc.

Anyways need the latency of these so I can set up my Power FC. Tried searching for this can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE:

Found this info, don't know how to get the 0.xx number in need though

"Stock Latencies are:
Volts: 6.00 9.00 12.00 14.00 16.00
Latency: 7.66 2.69 1.37 1.05 0.75 "

Also found this page which contained info saying they are 0.7ms (same as s13)

You should just be able to take out the old rail and put in the new one. Top feeds do have some clearance issues sometimes with the hood. I don't know if that only happens with aftermarket intake mani's though. My circuit sport top feed rail and ID 1000's fit nicely under the hood. You just need the bolts, big spacers for the bolts, and the injector O rings to fit in the manifold to run it.

That's all my set up came with and it's running great.

will a wix 51515 fit a ka24de? (i happen to have one, need to know before an oil change, so I don't end up stuck without a new filter to go on if it doesn't)

What do I need to know, in order to be grabbing random filters? Like, what common motors share our inner and outer gasket diameters, and thread size/pitch?

I read it's the same as ford smallblock filters, and saw alleged thread pitches, but from places like tamparacing.... so, I was wondering about credible and complete info.

Hey need some help, not very familiar with transmission problems, was hoping for some input. I've a manual transmission that is very hard to put into gear, only when the clutch is pressed in at a spot about 85% of the way in will it budge and get in, and when pressed all the way in it makes a rotational grinding sound but is unable to move through the gears at all. It seems to be leaking a bit of transmission oil where the tranny meets the engine. I've checked the master and slave cylinders and appear to be working fine and not leaking. Do I need to replace my clutch or is it also something else? I've researched threads such as this:

http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=108736

I am unsure if this issue can be fixed without dropping the transmission, and if it does have to be, what else should I be replacing while I'm down there? I was planning on getting a Greddy clutch kit but I also heard about replacing the main seals which may be causing my leak? Thanks for any input.

Sounds like your clutch fins are scratching the flywheel from wear. Seems as you have sufficient pressure on the slave, also don't get an expensive clutch as you might not have the need. Just get a excedy replacement or similar.

That leak also has to be looked at, either rear main seal on block or front on trans, should be a simple fix

Thanks for the input that sounds about right. And my mistake on that, I meant I was going to get the exedy oem clutch kit. So would you say my clutch fins are worn and the replacement kit should do it?

Also are these the correct seals you speak of?

Thanks a lot, I plan on putting in the order soon to get this issue fixed. While I'm having the tranny dropped for this job, should I plan on replacing anything else while I'm down there? Planned on resurfacing the flywheel too
