I think the problem is the 17s, not enough sidewall. If I get on it at all in first, second, or third, it just spins. Originally, I had Sumitomos on there, but they were just too hard and broke traction constantly. The Nittos are better, but still too hard to hook up. Maybe they'll work if you're under 400hp or have a heavier car? The next setup will be some 15x10s, probably a 325/50 tire.

255/40/17 NT-01s all the way around 17x9 +22 all the way around. Rear is pulled/flared. Fronts are roll/pulled. Needs more pull, lots more.

Broadfield, it's hard to tell from your pics; which has a more concave face - r disk or o disk?

The actual spoke design is basically the same. It's the back spacing of the hub where the difference is. As you can see the lug nut area is very deep on the R-disk. This pushes the spokes out to make room for bigger calipers. Thus giving you less dish. This is the only pic I have to compare the faces.

broadfield, your car is perfect! had i known you were gonna be at IA in nashville i would have made the 3 hour trip just to see your car. I did however see some pics from the event and your car and a grey coupe with rpf01s were my favorites. keep up the good work!

Broadfield, Wonderful attention to detail and tasteful modifications. I don't know if your car belongs here or in the tire stretch thread, frankly i don't care, it just looks classy and timeless.
I posted pics of my car in the fitment thread and was told i didn't belong there. So here she is in the "correct" thread. SSR MS1 18X9 +19 245/35 18x10 +24 265/35 Never rubs on the street. Rubs some in the rear at the track in the rear during high G uphill turns (lots of suspension compression and body rolls enough to make camber move towards positive) |

I wonder if it would fit over your front calipers - have you ever tried it just to see how it fits the calipers? |

I tried, it doesn't come close to fitting. The R-disk is on the left, O-disk on the right. The breakdown in order of most lip/least caliper clearance is as follows: O, A, L then R. 19" 3pc Meisters also have a T-disk for really big calipers. |

just got some 17x9 +22 blitz 01's, will 245/40/17 look good in the rear and 225/40/17 in the front? on stock fenders of course, just rolled.

never had s13 but i think where is no "HUGE" difference between s13 and s14 in wheel clearance between tire and fender. |

I can finally add my car as its nearly finished visually,
this thread was very helpful as inspiration wheels are Meisters 18x8.5 front and 9.5 rear with 235 fronts and 285 rears, nothing real crazy but i'm happy with the stance. |

Volk GT-N
F:17x8 +30 with 235/40 R:17x9 +24 with 255/40 fronts are rolled and pulled on...no needed for these wheels Rears are rolled with a slight pull. mostly for the look probably could have gotten away with out the pull I know the size is a little weak..I got a deal on the wheels that i couldn't pass up at the time. Eventually i plan on changing them again maybe go 18's maybe not....not sure yet I like the way the rear sits. Front fenders are pulled pretty good to fit my slicks which is why these look sunk in a little.
