but then, when thinking about the front wheels it wouldnt look good to stretch such small tires since you are running a size 7" up front... so maybe a 225 or 235 in rear would be better and you could still get a bigger tire fro front to make it fit /look better.and def..a big spacer in the front!!!

Subies are starting to take Q's from the 240 crowd.
This is mine... 18x8.5 SSR GT2's +23 with 225/40 tires All fenders rolled and the rears are pulled a bit. Camber -2 I've done a little more pulling and lowered the car about 3/4inch more since these pics.

Hey guys, I think this is the right place to post this.
Im buying some 3piece Work Meister S1s on Thursday. The rears are 18x10 et0, which isn't a problem as I've already had my rear arches done. My question is about the fronts. They're 17x9 et0. Anyone know what kind of tyre sizes I'd need to fit these under the standard front fenders? I don't mind a bit of archwork. Will this be possible?

Just realised I put 17x9, I actually meant 18x9 et0. Thanks for the reply though. Same applies with 225/40/18?

I'm running a 17X9 +3 up front with a 215/45, I want to say my camber is ~-2.5...just a FYI:
It could go lower...or I could run a slightly larger tire front and back, but that is what it sits like now and I have no rubbing issues. I hammered the front fenders, so nothing major. DERR, I just saw you said 18! 225/40 definitely!

picking up a set of sportmaxx wheels 16 x 8 0 offset
would 195/50/16's be the size to go with for a nice stretch on them? anybody recommend something else? and rules i added a pic of my car and its current setup 17 x 9 Fn's +12 offset all around (originally +20 but i added 8mm spacers all around so i could clear front coilovers) 235/40/17 federals |

I love 215/40 on a 17 for sure, lets me do this with minimal trouble
Only thing is, gotta be careful with your fenders, I folded one in under compression.

hahaha.... dunno if that's what happened to mine but one of them has a fist size inwards dent. Maybe the start of the fender folding itself.
There was a shit ton of rubber on my hood, fender, mirror, door and windshield haha.
