So yeah after awhile of having that ft-86 in the garage i couldnt find a use for it.. so i just bought some mods for it.. and it turns out to be a really really great drift car.. after the weight mod it weighs around 900 kg.. but its now my favorite drift car.



And then of course my gtr, ubsessed with getting pics of the rotors burning.

Great shot of the brakes! Can you do use one better and get the burning rotors with a nice backfire? That would be dope!

thanks! yeah thats exactly what i was trying to do... But since you cant rewind or fast forward all you can do is just press start for the photo mod at the right timming.. I also dont know how i would get a view of the rotors burning and a back fire because only the front rotors turn red.so i would have to be like... turned completely so i can get a shot from the rear but also have the rotors in the shot.. Idk ill try!

i ran a sloppy 53 on tsukuba with my gtr without a suspension tune and racing soft tires. i think i can do 51 or so with a tune. dunno what tires you other dudes are running.

Not only that, but the fact that everything i am reading in this thread that people are "Praying" for, already exists in another game.

Wasn't trying to start an argument, just an observation i've made from reading this thread while deciding whether or not to buy a PS3 solely for this game.

Sounds like i have everything you guys want already, so unless something changes, i won't be wasting hundreds of dollars

I'm using soft racing tires. That way no one can lie on their times if I was to use medium and they use soft.

Yeah soft racing tires is whats up. Hey does anyone have the problem when racing where there is no tire wear or gas usage ? Every race ive done my tires and gas stays the same..... I looked under settings and stuff and couldnt find anything that changes the racing setting or tire wear etc.

Have you played online yet? I've noticed tire ware and gas usage online.

I'm guessing that it's like damage and it will eventually turn on once you get to a certain level

Ahh ok, So far im level 17. That was kind of what i was thinking .. maybe it will just eventually start occurring.

Forza might have a few extra things that currently GT5 doesn't have, but overall GT5 is much better than Forza 3.

currently I really dont know what to do with my money lol... So far i have about 300k and counting and im just never have my mind set on if i want to buy something or not...

Also... anyone thats looks for a way to make good money in special events ( not sure if anyone has told this. if so ohh well) dont just focus on winning gold.... focus on winning bronze silver AND gold... then your making 3 times of money for 1 event.

Finally got to play GT5 today. Hopped in 2 player mode with some friends, took the Nismo 350Z in arcade mode to Tsukuba, and started sliding it right away. My friends were amazed, lol. Oh and lets not forget no assists whatsoever, manual, and "real" for that last option which I think only applies in the rain anyway. This game is so much fun.
