Hey guys I have a 81 Datsun 280ZX and it's my daily project/drift car

Recently I blew up the original welded diff that I had in there (due to bad shimming and laziness on the welds) and I decided to go NA-Turbo swap.

Pretty self explanatory, stock turbo manifold, t3 turbo, no intercooler.
All I did was add those and fuel injectors.

Before I had that on my car drove smooth blah blah blah.
It still drives smooth until I get into boost now.
I have a vibration upon acceleration at -10 vac and thereon into boost.

So far I've thought of motor mounts cause they're shot and my diff mount is shot as well.
But before I did the turbo swap the car didn't vibrate with the same stuff.

Was thinking the trans is going out, no idea though

Rust-Oleum Regal Red is a great match for the '91-94 Aztec Red. I spray all my aero with it, and use it to touch up the factory paint.
Apparently Rust-Oleum Sunrise Red is a good fit for the '89-90 Hot Red.
Plus it protects against rust.

Alright, so I got everything I didnt need stripped off of the chassis harness (from the smj to the trunk hookup)... Then I ran across this clusterfuck near the SMJ. I know the black connector plugged into my fender harness, but as I was pulling it apart to rewrap and clean up I realized almost all of the wires were loose, and nothing was hooked up to the plug.. Has anyone ever seen anything like this mess?

Im at a loss for words on what all this stuff is since 95% of it was just tapped together and not hooked to anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I remember reading something awhile back about this.. It is the way the forum is, it does not pick up on special characters. There is nothing wrong with your profile, its just a flaw in the forum.

Did you change the Transmission mount with the engine mounts?

The lead plates have been void of charge and no longer support full hydrolysis and the ability to hold positive ionic compounds in their atomic structure. In essence what you see and verify is a very dead battery. I hear Optima Red Tops and Yellow Tops work really well. If you are bumpin huge wattage audio kits or Turbo kits use the Yellow, if you are just running NA the Red will more than suffice for your needs.

Cheap Way: Get some Baking soda and water and a brush. Clean the corrosion off of everything. Rinse with rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol. Get some DI-ELECTRIC silicone and apply it to the terminals and along the lengths of the wires for 4".
Remove the battery and dump it's contents into a box of cat sand. Now refill it with HCl(hydrochloric acid) 75% and Distilled Water 25%. Leave the caps off and jump start the car. Run it until the voltage guage shows a full, complete charge(this is great excuse to go burn about a half tank of gas, OR hook it up to a charger for 12 hours.

Best Way: Clean as above, Exchange the battery for a Optima Red Top, get some of that purple battery terminal spray, and use it on the terminals and wire ends
I know this is old, but check your ALT fuse under the hood. My s13 did this.

BASF Onyx A20 Red, or as they call it, Nissan A20 red. It's THE S chassis RED that everyone loves to hate...except me, I mean two in a row now, and yes I do like that particular shade. It kind of matches Jenny's hair too...ooohhhh maaaaaannnnnn, jennnyyyyyyyy Q
Oh yeah

I hear a 02 wrx momo steering wheel will.
Knowing that, check the wrx forums to see if a evo will fit the wrx steering shaft.

I saw the info on the steering wheel in the rare thread. I think the dude got duped by a eBay store. (I think I'm not 100% on the info.) saying its a rare jdm wheel and it turned out to be a USA gen 1 wrx momo wheel.

Potentionally life threatening question here! Just kidding its not but today I went ahead and tried to replace the fuel injectors on my car (ka24E) so I took out the brand new injectors and they didn't come with the o-ring seals. Ok no problem so I went to my local parts shop and picked up a kit. I replaced the injectors lubed the o rings and bolted the rail back down, put my fuel pump fuse back on and went ahead and primed the fuel system. As soon as the pump kicked in the injectors started gushing gas!
What did I do wrong? It has new seals there shouldn't be any leaks the rail is seated properly to the best of my knowledge. I cleaned up my mess and left the car like that till tomorrow when I pick up a new set of seals. If anyone had an experience like this help me out please.

My profile does a similar thing, I pm'd a mod and he said they have trouble with screen names that have punctuation in them or something.

300zx z32, have drum brake e-brake.
We have cable pull that compresses the pads.
You can get 2+2 e-brake cables from frsport there like 56$ a pop

I've talked to many people regarding turbo vs non-turbo rear parts. Calipers and rotors are the same, however the e-brake hardware and hubs are different. You will need to find non turbo hardware.

That's an aftermarket alarm wired into your car. Take it all out and trash it, and then repair any wiring (you're redoing the harness, so that's a no brainer...but for anyone else looking on here ) that was there.

That's what I'm thinking too, but namely because they were generic parts store o-rings (much as S14db pointed out)
