a set of roller blade wheels are not gonna stop or deflect the force of 2000lbs moving at 40 plus mph.

Sorry, shit is just not rated for that.
Its a fucking fairly tale if you think that shits gonna work.
And your shoveling shit around here if you try and tell people it works.

A bumper support or bash bar will deflect force better, and at that kind of pressure, you will not feel or see a difference in the wheels rolling or the lack of grip potential in metal on cement.

But please, put blades on your bumper, so we can recognize the kooks where ever we go

so, what if you welded up a sturdy frame to hold some high density rubber or poly wheels that could take the force.. maybe work in a damper..
use some like 7x4 inch wheels...

lol nevermind, carry on.

hmmm.

280lb rider, falling...lets be conservative and say 15ft, and the wheels hold up plenty solid for that direct impact......
Now implement an even more efficient dampner system into an object that wont even take the force DIRECTLY(cause you know..this isnt made to take impact, its made to DEFLECT/ABSORB force.) But hey, your an engineer..what do i know?

Yeah im wondering how this thread has this much talk on it..... the roller blades are stupid and i dont care what there purpose is if they hit a wall at the typical impact that happens when your bumper hits that all or even gets close... im pretty sure it would break those wheels off in a second.

the first car that I saw that had roller blades mounted in the bumper also had it linked to coilovers so that it absorbed the energy and and push back so he could just keep sliding on a straight line against a wall, or something like that. mounting roller wheels for no reason is rather superfluous

I was thinking, why not mount some skateboard trucks on the back so you can hit some sweet grinds off the wall. But then I remembered, they made a skateboard car already.

I'm just more impressed with people that don't need training wheels when they ride the wall.
