What program are you using to do that? I've always wanted to learn how to, but do people instead of cars.
Since I'm a med/art student I like doing stuff like that in the free time I have in school on my laptop. |

just photoshop cs3 , this is currently the only way i know how to do it, but i think if one wants to be proficient at line art/vectoring, illustrator must be used.
i should start modeling VSKFs in pro engineer ![]() side story. here is an inline 4 i model for my final project in 3-d modeling class. the crank/piston assembly also moved and was constrained to a pretty simplistic block for illustrative purposes. i think* i have the know-how of p.engineer to model a wheel, but unfortunately i dont think i have the time to actually take measurements =(. (picture sucks because it was just a screen capture at the time to put into a report) ![]() |

I've never used Pro-E only SolidWorks. I really should finish those courses at school, but I'm to lazy for that right now.

I've modeled battles in Solidworks, and a knock off RBP grille for a Titan. I'll have to find the files, I forgot about those. |

now I get to go change the rear coolant hose that goes from the block to the head. Yeah for small places and big hands, time to grab some lube.

I'm not an engineer, just someone who tinkers with stuff alot. I used to want to be an engineer then I decided that its too much work and now its more of a hobby. I just like to make/build stuff. So pretty much the only reason I'll eventually finish SolidWorks courses is so when I finally put digital read-outs and a CNC set up on my mill I can just load a design and make cool parts with out leaving my house.
Using a hand operated mill is tricky when your trying to learn on your own. I also want to learn how to do the Vectoring stuff too. I have CS3 loaded on my laptop already so I'll have to google how to do it. I'd love to do a rendering of the white car right before I parted it out. |

well my brother and I got it done, it was only a p.i.t.a because the bs abs and firewall and immissions crap, but it is on, now I just go to bleed it. Problem was is that it was a crappy goodyear hose, I highly recomend using oem rubber hoses on everything. Best performance and fit.
Nate, I was looking at the vector and realized you messed up, you forgot the gap in the hood. Do yourself the favor and vector in a bn hood. You know Im joking.. |

sad note. some one stole my work valve cap stems at school, going parking lot walking tomorrow and about the engineering, Inventor was super duper hella easy. i made anything, the switch to solidworks this year got me. its very similar but the shortcuts make me press different things... trying proE soon to see how that is

If you have any more pics of it link me up! Unless they are on here.
Ive been trying to save up on the side of shit for my car to invest in a Wacom pen/touch drawing tablet. More for free hand drafting and other designs and stuff I do. |
