Congratulations. Until you can publish your own factory service manual which displays a method proven to be better than the previous, only then will I leave you alone.

Until then, you can kindly go and fuck yourself.

I'm about to order a new carpet for my S13 hatch from stockinteriors however the only option they offer is the HICAS model. Is there any difference between HICAS carpet and non HICAS as far as the fitments goes? Thanks!

[img]So I'm trying to lower my new KTS coils and they are 'maxed' at a super high height.

They are supposed to go REALLY low apparently and this is as low as I can get either of the rears. The body stops turning at all. Is it the pre-load thats messed up? I bought them like this, just trying to lower them.[/img]

What are you rotating? Unbolt the bottom mount from the knuckle, and then screw it up onto the threaded section as far as you can go. That would be bottomed out.

Ok. I understand exactly what you are saying. What is the difference between doing that, and just turning the whole shock body into the bottom mount, without removing it from the knuckle? It won't turn any more, and there is a shitload of thread left. Both sides are like this.

Does anyone have the ecu pinout for the JDM S14 SR20DET NA ECU(97-98)? I'm trying to wire up my consult port. All the searches are broken links and I can only find the AUS version of the ecu pinout; which I'm not 100% sure I can use that diagram to wire up my consult port. Thanks.

Hey guys, I've read a million times that Part Shop Max competetion coilovers are a little on the harsh side in terms of street duties. I was just wondering if I swap the springs to their new SLL range and get them in 8/6 rates will it be smooth(er) sailing?

Is the spring perch rotating when you do that? If you just rotate the shock body while the bottom mount and the perch stay stationary, you may be stretching the shock and hitting the limits of extension.

When you rotate, does the distance between the bottom mount and the spring perch change?

Stupid simple question, but can I run HIDs in my high beams on a zenki S14? I want to run a stupid color, but don't want shit from cops. So I was gonna get Sylvania SilverStar Ultra bulbs for my low beams, and and HID kit for my high beams. And which one would I have to run? If I remember correctly, low beam is H4, is high beam the same?

You should be able to squeeze one in but if not you can use an open ended racheting Wrench or maybe even a crows foot

I just installed SPL outers and 350z inners on my s13, i have stock knuckles and the instructions said to use just the one cone shaped spacer. but when i set it down on the ground the tie rod isn't level anymore. it's level in the air though (obviously because suspension isnt compressed) should i add the washer style spacers to correct the angle when its down?

Ok, I hope I don't get too flamed for this, buuuuut I am a cheap ass right now.
I am looking at ordering an exhaust for my stock S14 off eBay. Has anyone bought one recently? What is a good brand to get from? I have been reading up on some exhausts and looked on YouTube and they sound nice for being eBay. I am just not sure which one to get from them. I know I want to get the 2.5" piping instead of all the 3" ones on there. This is mainly just a temporary fix but I still would like something that sounds nice and not raspy. I am also looking at just getting the N1 single tip style instead of the duals.
Mainly the only brands i have seen are Top Street King, K2, KO Speed, DotCom Racing, and iPex Motoring. A few more but like I said, a lot of them are 3" piping.
