It is mostly blue problem, from the simple fact that blue states are leading the way in getting people tested, closing schools, etc etc

Regardless of which states you "think" it is isolated to, what does any of this has to do with election interference?? Has someone come out recently to explicitly state this or is their part of your conspiracy theory??

I rarely agree with you on politics, but you are correct on this. The only reason you'd see a variance of infection based on political mapping would be Urban vs Rural regions.

Rural will have more social distancing and lower population density. This means fewer cases and slower spread. Urban areas like Seattle and San Fran, with large homeless populations, and dense communities will see this spread like a California wildfire.



As for Trump's responses, damned if you do, damned if you don't.

The virus will either have substantial human impact (illness, death, etc) and he didn't do enough. Or the human impact will be minimal and he over reacted. You will never factually prove what actions where successful and the cost trade off for them.

The problem I see, back in January, the world, both political sides and media all sat back while this mess unfolded in China.

Someone should have started ordering test kit and trying to get ahead of this back then.

Indiana last week had an entire 80 test kits. I was flu sick having spent two weeks traveling by air. Just normal flu, cough, congestion, running nose, sore, but no fever and nothing I'd see the doctor over. Pretty much 98% recovered today.

Based on what I've seen, I could easily have had COVID-19 seeing over half the infected have extremely mild symptoms. But without a fast check, drive up test system in place.. Who fucking knows. I could have been a carrier monkey that infected +40 other people.

The location of COVID cases has little to do with test kits. Medical personnel WILL get testing done if a person has ACTUAL COVID SYMPTOMS. Too many kits being wasted on people with flu symptoms instead. The amount of negative test results is an indication of that.

The COVID is spreading around blue counties because those are the people who can't follow simple, common sense rules, ie don't travel to infected areas, use the penis bathroom if you have a penis, etc.

Finally, the POTUS is using the Navy to help bridge the countries medical shortfalls. The said thing is, Biden already asked for military help a week ago. The Navy can stand up several fleet hospital next to major hospitals to take care of trauma patients since it's our bread and butter. The Navy could stand up 10 fleet hospitals in 72 hours across the U.S., the hardest part is getting to the location via air and having the space to deploy the hospital. The POTUS just stated the virus snuck up on him, as I type this post. This is craz-craz! ��

Isn't what this current admin is doing (provided medical support for folks who are unable, Free test kits, Free tests, waiving the income tax, pumping $1.5T into the markets/banks, attempting to hand out $1000.....the list goes on)

Isn't this 100% Socialism?? I am fairly certain this is the VERY definition of socialism no matter what sort of epidemic we are in. It was socialism when the Obama admin bailed out the banks in 2008 and offer tax breaks to the population. So I assume it is also socialism now when the trump admin is also trying to do the exact same thing. Or when trump approves a tax break in a strong economy (not needed).

The difference is; the Obama admin was handed a Recession. Also, why is with how the trump admin is handling the situation, the market continues to get eviscerated?? I am fairly sure at this point, it took a little over 1 week for all the gains from 2016 to today to evaporate. Also, with folks being laid off by the 10s of thousands, it seems unemployment is going to spike. I think in a certain county is Ohio alone it went from a little over 6K on unemployment to 78,000 this week alone

The problem is the ships are geared towards folks stacked on top of each other. This is not ideal when treating an infectious disease which is transmitted via the airstream or just simply keeping folks in quarantine

The Mercy and Comfort will not treat covid patients, only trauma-based patients. The navy only has a few negative pressure rooms on the ships that will stop the spread of the virus. The Navy can tackle everything except for complex surgeries like brain or endo procedures.
