Would running no o2 sensor (nothing plugged in) cause an sr20det with t28 and tuned for t28 run lean? Car pulls to 4.5-5k then just power is lost and kinda bucks. No black smoke..

Has anyone ever wired in an ignition from a different car into their S14? I want to know how to go about this. I've googled and searched and whatnot. Couldn't find a damn thing. Except on how to replace the ignition with another s chassis ignition.

Running no o2 sensor on any EFI car is a stupid idea in the first place, and at the least will cause your car to run in a limp/safe mode. Considering you're running some kind of tune, it's hard to know if your car would do this or some other programmed behavior. If running without o2 is any indication, I imagine you're going to throw a rod out of the side of the block, through your fender, and into the teeth of a kindergartener with insanely litigious parents.

When you go WOT the o2 sensor isn't even used...it's only used in part throttle cruising.

With that said if it gets to 4.5/5 k and bucks, check couplers, check fuel pressure, check timing, and or regap sparkplugs.

Second question, I was on courtesy parts & they're z32 brake inventory page is a bit confusing for me. I've got 30mm calipers so does that mean 1991-1996 z32's will all fit? Does N/A or turbo matter for those years?
S14 pads WILL NOT work on the Z32 setup at all

With that said 30mm is 30mm is 30mm. Any year works. I also hope you're at least buying some sort of performance pad online, and not generic part store stuff

Why would you need to do this....ever? Hooking up a generic key and push button is super easy, but why?

You need to list width in addition to offset for any meaningful answer.

Ah, I misunderstood your question then. Odd story by my 240 spare key can open the doors on my Maxima, and if you jiggle it just right it'll start it as well. The Maxima keys however do not work in the 240. Freakin crappy key cuts.

I hate it. Haha. If it's possible I'd wire in something with a chip. Like 350Z key maybe? And yeah, I just meant the turn key part. Not the whole ignition system if that's what you thought I meant.

Ah I see. So if I open up the entire piping, maybe like Intake and Exhaust, will that allow the headers to achieve 10-13 hp? Thanks once again

yes but you dont want to open it up too much backpressure is still gonna help make power.

I would say for a stock KA there isnt any need for you to go bigger than 2.5, ever.

More realistically you'll get a 5-7 hp bump, if that.

touge factory outer tie rods?

anyone have them? they look like megan ones, but touge factory is kind of awesome company, so i'm hoping they're actually legit.

and for all of the trolls, "just get spl." and now we've gotten that out of the way.

S15 Silvia Seats

I have a question about S15 Silvia seats, can the back be separated from the bottom or is it riveted and/or welded? Trying to find a cheaper way to ship them without having to go for a container and four boxes would spread the weight better than two. Thanks.

Just get SPL. I like Touge factory too, but would like to know more about the bearing they use, how strong the shank is, and how much bumpsteer correction it provides.

Truthfully, that looks like the exact same thing as the MR, with different annodization, and a booty for the bearing. with that said, if you don't want SPL, get MR (assuming the TF is the same stuff)

I have ton question about upgrade car for drift track my project.

I have jic magic flta 2 7kg front and rear 6kg, drifting w them kinda bad suspension system.. Should I change springs rate to 10kg front and 8kg rear that would be better drift? Will pbm springs fit on jic with no problem?

Have you ever drifting with 205/40/17 on 9.5 with no blew and no problem?

Which best rebuilt or brand new steering rack and pinion? If brand new, should I order eBay?

Thanks

If rear is 9j+38, get 38mm spacers.
If front is 7j+38 get 50mm spacers.

Also, what's this black box thing in front of the front left wheel? Does it have to do with the intake?
