What is everyone's opinion on aluminum vs. urethane bushings for the differential and subframe? I don't plan to beat on the car, it will be more for cruising. Plans eventually are for a power adder though ~300whp.

Hardware store or home depot. Get a piece of metal, say just about 1/4" thick, and buy or fab the right size and drill holes in it and make a gasket for sealing. I know you said not online, but they make a plate for like 10 bucks that's the right size and comes with hardware.

SouthBend Clutch
South Bend Clutch - DXD High Performance Clutches
their clutches are top notch.

You can call their shop and talk to a human who you can help you with just about anything. They helped me put together a 240mm clutch setup with a 280z flywheel and 300zx clutch disc.

Im doing the 300zx master cylinder on my hardbody and have the wilwood 4 pistons in the front. How bad will that master effect/affect the rear drums? I plan on changing the rear over to the 300zx 2 pistons but not at the moment.

Just doing some reading after posting this, could I just run one of the wilwood proportioning valves to the rear and be ok?

Would a skyline r33 gt-s caliper still require an adaptor to run 350z track rotor like z32 on s14?

i know z32 runs 280mm x 30mm and gts runs 296mm x 30mm but just wondering if itll straight bolt up with r33 gt-s or still need a bracket?

I have a ka and my wiring for the ignition coil got tangled and a bit chewed up by the fan, got all that fixed but now I have a problem with the car turning off every now and then and not getting spark. Ill let it sit for a while and it'll turn on and run perfectly again. Could my ecu have gotten messed up when those different stripped wires made contact? Also my temp sensor seems to not be working properly could that also cause it to.be turning off?

Hmm wanna get some input...my s14 had some maf problems before. It would bog while driving(street/fwy) and die at a stop, it would start back up very easy. I bought a used maf for it and ran fine afterwards. Well now my s13(sohc), starts up easy but bogs(motor shaking like crazy) then dies, sounds like the motor wants to try and stay on. If I rev it, it'll stay on but I gotta keep on revving it. When I drive it, it runs fine and doesn't bog like the s14 did. I checked for vacuum leaks and found nothing(yet). So should I just change the maf on this one too?

Anyone with similar problems?

Can someone tell me the proper torque specs for the pressure plate on a KA? I torqued them to 25 lbs. Is this enough?

Try adding and extra chassis ground to your maf or replacing. I have a couple sohc mafs

First result on google:
Step one, torque each bolt between 7 and 14 ftlbs.
Step two, torque each bolt between 26-32.

Now there are 9 bolts. 3 in 3 sets. Tighten the middle 3 first to step one, then do the others to step one. Then repeat on the middles with step 2 and all others on two last.

Seriously people do you even attempt to use google?

It has 9 bolts? I think I may have the wrong piece. I'm bolting the clutch to the flywheel.

yea, z32 calipers are the same as r33 gt-s calipers minus the r33 rotors being thicker and bigger. The actual caliper itself isn't much different

What size wrench do I need to tighten the inner tie rods where they thread into the rack, and are aftermarket ones normally the same size?
I used adjustable vise-grips, but do not trust them.
Cheers.

I'd be running the proportioning valve for sure, trying to regulate wheel cylinders is a MFer though

there should be slots on them for a wrench, or you can use a pipe wrench (or a the adjustable vise grips if you really get a good grip on them). Don't forget a dab of blue loctite.
