I probally will. However I already have a set of URAS in 17's... I would rather keep it all japanese brands than a pair of URAS and a pair of Brotas.

I do know how to search YAJ, thanks for the help though man!

Like I said, I am looking specifically for 18's, those are all 16's/17's.
(Havent been looking too much at LMGT4's as there are plenty stateside. just out of my budget.)

enlighten me.

it looks like the auction sold @ 33,500 without a reserve, or reserve already being met. ?

or do you mean you can see the winning bidder had a proxy of 100k? also interested to know how you can see that info...

A friend contacted someone about bidding on the wheels and was told someone else had already submitted a request for the wheels and said their max bid was 100,000 yen.

It's not worth it to get them on YAJ. Ganadors are just expensive as fuck right now.

Also I had to download Chrome to get YAJ to even translate. Chrome ftw though.

Second that for whoever wants to surf YAJ with translation. I've got Chrome specifically for that purpose.

Here if your pocket is deep enough. Nismo LMGT4 limited edition.

Agreed! But it's got the under belly deals that drain the water away from stuff that shouldn't get wet.

R-Magic Cooling Bonnet Type II FD3S. The highlight of the Type II Cooling Bonnet is its ability to cool to the extreme while being a lightweight replacement. Due to the ingenious undercover, rain water will not be able to flood out your precious engine. With the undercover attached, hot air will still be able to flow out of the engine bay. Since the undercover can be detached, even better flowing characteristics can be achieved from the hood when you feel it is necessary.
R-Magic Cooling Bonnet Type II FD3S

I think this would just be a "summer" hood anyways, it surprisingly gets a little chilly here during the winter. If I get lucky enough to buy it, I'll see how it does in the rain, I atleast have covered parking.

Good to go then! That's a neat little feature. And I agree, it's always cold in the winter time. I chalk that up to no central heat though.

I didn't see this when you guys posted this....but I did a mini crate of shit last year right before the yen rate completely tanked (last item purchase was 89:1....and I was upset about that). I was doing it as a test run to see what was involved and possibly see if I could start a business doing it.

With the yen rate the way it is right now it just isn't feasible to make any money doing it - unless you did orders only and could get like 10 people to order stuff at once. I ended up losing a little money, but I considered it a valuable learning experience. There is definitely a lot of fees and taxes you can't really read about or anything until you go through the whole process.

This was the crate I got:

Shipping and all state side fees for that crate was ~2700 bucks. The bulk of the shipping charge is in yen, and I unfortunately made that payment when the yen rate was dipping into the lower 80s.

In that crate I fit:

5 pairs of side skirts
2 front bumpers with lips
3 sets of rear valances
2 180sx seats
1 180sx spoiler
1 326 power sized spoiler
1 S14 Ks wing

and misc stuff to fill space - S14 tail lights, civic headlights, a 2-way diff, and one or two other small things.

The place I went through built the crate, packed everything up and handled the Japan side of everything. They can do crates half that size, but shipping isn't half that price, its only a little less. I had to get a customs broker to deal with the US side of it all (which was a massive pain in the ass).
$2700? I payed on average about $3500 for a 20' Container... if the Value of its contents is over $2000 you have to get a broker, they are easy to find around airports and if you sweet talk them, or deal with them alot, they wont charge much, It also helps if you know the Codes for clearance. I did most of the paperwork and logistics and just handed it over to be confirmed. I cleared full containers the same day as landing in most cases. If by chance they make a Wooden Crate, make sure its been fire treated, otherwise customs is going to hold it forever. And Do NOT use DHL to ship anything (Dick Head Liers).

Glad to see you guys helping other with YAJ... back in the day this shit was a lost cause.

Got my 180sx key rekeyed to my US ignitnion cylinder and had the matching door locks too so thats all I had to do.

carry on
