Eh you just gotta get used to the physics and know when to throttle back lol. I'm a hell of a lot better on pc at flying.

On a slightly related note, I totally picked off a door gunner in a moving chopper today. Then I put a shot right in the pilot's chest but it only cracked the windshield :/

Where your flying the plane is as important as how you fly it. Keep a high altitude and circle the map on an angle, using the free look to spot enemies on the ground and also look for other planes. That will keep the AA and the engineers from being able to lock onto you.

When you see a chance to strike, take it.

Then regain altitude and wait to strike again.

keep a low as fuck altitude so that air radar doesnt pick you up and then gun down mofos who fly high like idiots

as soon as i take off noobs like you circling around in the sky are the first people i take out.

In air warrior land the highest altitude has the most advantage. You use the boom and zoom tactic, turning less and grab the most altitude.

I never flew yet on bf3 so I don't know what actually works. Plus it's a arcade style not a real sim.

I beat that like twenty times already. You just need a pilot/co-pilot that isn't a total nub.

I just need more practice with both, I only got the game a couple days ago.

I wish there was like a private match type of thing to just mess around with em and get the physics down. Eh until then I'm an easy target I guess haha

Again, still new to first person shooters, but the last few games I've been doing much better, easily hitting 20 kills per game, which i consider great for a few weeks worth of playing. Moving on from sniping, I love planting land mines, love, love, love. It's like free kills while you're somewhere else on the map doing work. Planting the mines in the shadows of buildings etc, usually works best, unless the driver has thermal optics, then you're screwed.

so you have to get kills with just the machine guns on the jets to get flares and missles and all that jazz?

also I <3 anyone with a tac light on their sniper rifle, easiest targets ever

anything in particular I should be ranking while early on? I've been using recon the most but am starting to try out the other classes a bit more now

^ All rifle scopes that are 6x and above will produce a lens glare that basically looks like a mini tact light from far away.

You should be leveling your assault/engineer/support classes first. Work on recon later as it is probably the hardest class to use since your almost powerless compared to the benifits of the other classes.

recon is the slowest. ESP if you're brand new to the game. I was strictly only recon for the first month and it was hell.

Go to 24/7 servers like subway. Lvls up quick in all classes except recon.
