Seattle Police Officer gets away with murder

IMO, they do a lot more good than they do harm. I agree that they should be held to the same standards (if not higher) as the citizens.'

I don't keep up with the news as much as I should, but I don't think something even close to this extreme happens on a weekly basis in the United States. Your 99% is probably a lot closer to 99.99999%

That officer failed to follow proper procedure and needs to go to jail for a very long time, if not life.

The dirty truth is that there's a definite "better to be judged by 12, then be carried by 6" mentality among some officers.

Department Chiefs and Sergeants should provide an attitude adjustment and education on the proper use and escalation of force to any officer found displaying such thinking.

Rest in peace, Mr. Williams.

This cop must have been new to the area or something, I'm from the Seattle area and seeing a native carrying a some wood and a knife (or even a chainsaw) is nothing new in that area. For whatever reason a string of bad decisions on the cop's part ended in the death of an innocent man.

Anytime I get pulled over I don't even blink(6'2 250) I'VE had a lot of bad experiences with the cops for nothing. I spun a rod in my s13 on the way from work instead of helping me the cops searched my car for over a hour while I'm in handcudfs. On the side of the freeway like a criminal. I was eventually arrested because I couldnt stop cursing.

how long do you think a proper vehicle search takes? so because your vehicle was being searched (i can't see why they would fuck with you for no reason other then you/vehicle was suspicious) you decided to act like a hot head and show no respect...you were arrested and thats the cops fault?

Yeah, but I don't buy that the officer was in any threat whatsoever.
It's a far shot to call the victim a threat in any way.

And even if that were the case, there so many things that could have been done such as calling for back-up, use a taser (if there was one), giving more notice before the shooting, etc.

Giving the officer a 'menacing look/stance', etc is just vague and imho no justification for the officer to do anything rash.
I would have a WTF reaction, even for a second or two, if a cop pulled out of nowhere and pointed a gun at me.
In one of the articles, it was later said the victim had a BAC of 0.18 in autopsy which would perfectly explain his supposedly delayed response.

If the said cop doesn't get a harsh conviction, it essentially gives the permission for every Seattle cop to go blow away whomever & whatever they please.

dude you can fool the test. my brother became a cop and he is a down right power hungery crazy person hah he was a cop for about 2 years and is now in the military which also does these tests...which he still got passed. you just have to be smart in how you take the tests and you can get passed it like he did...and tons of other people do too.

I know a couple over the top cops too.
Great guys, just like using illegal moves and shit on people and love the rush and the on foot chase.
In the end though, these guys I know would NEVER take a life or put themselves in a situation where they thought they may be in danger and dont have back up and shit.


This dude was a nut and I personally think one of those colombine type weirdos inside. Where he kind of just wanted to kill someone one day.

Look at the way he is carring his gun after he got out the car.

(not comparing to colombine, but to having a screw loose and thinking killing is something you want to experience.)


BTW, I think that lady was in shock and scared as shit.
I would be if I just say an officer lay 5 shots into a mellow wood carving dude before he even really had time to turn around.

Me being arrested was all my fault. I couldn't keep my cool because who gets put in handcuffs when there waiting for a tow truck!! 2 how long does it take to search a gutted s13??? Even after they were done searching my car they just talked amongst themselves jokingly that's what pissed me off. If your done searching sir can I go sir? "......." No response!!!! Most cops are good some love the power and abuse it.

I remember watching a video where it says police cant search your vehicle without your permission or unless they see something suspicious.....but then i guess they can just say they saw something suspicious...nevermind.
