I meant to say arent they all on the right (passenger) side

I recently got a flashing airbag light come on, did a search on here and tried the door reset trick but it only seem to work for a bit then comes by on later? im thinking it might just be a faulty wire? anything else i should try before i just unplug the light for it lol. i plan on getting an aftermarket steering wheel in the future anyways.

The one up front by the clutch fork is the Reverse switch.
The one back by the cross member is the 5th gear.
Up Top near the shifter is the Neutral.
Tailshaft is the speed sensor.

So, between the switch and the harness plug is broken? Just get a new switch.

I have a redtop sr [Skinny O2] but the elbow I have has the opening for a fat O2. Should I order a fat O2 cause it'll work or is there an adapter people use?

Question. Why on my n/a 300 rear hubs they have a tab on them, but the 300zx I got the ebrake shit off, didn't have the tab on the hubs. Both are n/a 300zx. My wpondering is they will still work on my axels right? Wheb I dissasemble my ebrake setup the hubs bolt on the same as the ones without the hubs. Just wondering if the splines are different?

Check out this link

Just messing with you. I saw your post on someone elses Z32 brake thread telling them to search.

The splines are only different between the twin turbo and N/A. As long as you have N/A they should fit.

lift motor for Oil pan install?

I searched this but I've been finding some mixed opinions on wether or not you have to lift the motor/trans slightly when replacing the oilpan on a ka24de depending on sohc/dohc, can anyone confirm if it can be done on a dohc without lifting the motor?

I've got a good one, working on my buddy's hardbody, and we've lost all the interior lights, brake lights, radio, and everything. The only thing that works is windshield wipers, headlights (no corners), and the truck will start. Ideas?

240sx started acting up after moving for 300 miles w/o issue. It bogs down to a stop upon acceleration but idles fine. Sounds like a fuel issue but am not sure. Would a TPS just crap out like that, and does it sound like something that would be caused by it? thanks. Previously it had ran the FPR on low vacuum (crappy hose), would it have caused damage to it by seeing low vacuum?

It'll be kinda hard without lifting the motor.. Unless you wanna take off the engine cross member which takes more work.

Ive been trying to search for a few hours on the wheel fitmen spec thread but everybody is running a crazy wheel setup. I want to throw on some 17x7.5 rims on my zenki. What tire size should I run? I was thinking 245/45/17? thats the tire size on there right now. My car is stock height. Will this be looking funky or will it look like whatever. I dont want the car rub or anything since its my daily driver.

You're stock ride hight; pretty much any size you want will fit without rubbing. I'd say that pretty much any tire choice is going to look so so until you slam it.

You can buy an adapter, or require a fat one in. Either way works.

Yes, or you're gonna hafta pull the crossmeber to get it out. Either way it going to involve an engine hoist (or a strut tower brace if you wanna get creative)

Check for vacuum leaks

They'll still bolt up, but those trim rings make it look nicer.

Quick Q.

After some spirited driving last night, my idle all of sudden became 2000rpm. Since it was dark, I couldn't do much but I took a wrench and hammer and started tapping on my IACV to see if I could loosen some stuff up in there.

Idle dropped down to like 1100 and after a few minutes went right back up to 2000.

Am I headed in the right direction? Is the IACV the main culprit or could I have a huge vac leak somewhere?

these hats are going to be the ones new-era throws out during quality control

they sell the shitty ones to companies for half the cost so they don't waste $ and resources

so the stitching, threading, quality, etc is going to be off. Your call

i've heard federal 595s have bulky sidewalls

if i wanna make them 'match' a set of 215/40/17 hankooks what sizes should i buy? 205/40/17?

the wheels would be stretched over a 9" but i always read to buy smaller size federals cause theyre fatter than most wheels

the first number is the width of the tire.
width/sidewall/wheel size. if federal is 40 sidewall and you want something smaller than it would be a 35

did you take off the bracket for the reverse lights?

you completely misunderstood what i'm saying. I know how to read tire sizes. I want to match stretch not height, federals have fat sidewalls compared to most tires from what i've been told. I just need to know what sizes to get so it matches 215/40/17 stretched on a 9
