I'm an idiot. Tried removing the emblem on the tails and I snapped it in half and somehow created scratches between the two holes...looks ugly as hell lol and I can't put the emblem on now either lol

Scuff it up with some 2000 grit and use some #7 polish, it should fill in all of the little scratches for a ballin' shine!

I wish it was that easy... its more like a guage into the finish, I think using the screwdriver to pry it out was a dumb mistake

i haven't found any cool options for bolt in + sunroof, have you?

yea just run non sunroof cage. ill prob go with saftey21/cusco.

that what my friend did in his purple kouki. only thing is his glass
wouldnt slide back, only pop. which is fine with me.

yes same one BH had. that is the best one.

saftey21/cusco will still fit in a sunroof car, the roof bars press
up on the head liner a bit though.

autopower is really gay, because of the halo design, it goes straight down
from the front hoop/cross bar. looks really uncomfy.

Safety21 and Cusco come in Dash Escape or Through Dash configurations. Dash Escape is the one that bends around the dash board. No cutting or removing of panels necessary. Through dash is.... through the dash. lol

In my S14 I had a Safety21 6 point dash escape with the add-on bars for the doors. I had full interior. Nothing needed to be removed to make it fit.

I think I still have my Cusco master catalogue at home. There is an unbelievable amount of cages they offer. I'll try to find it tomorrrow and look up somne part numbers for you if you would like.

Uncomfy? Lol, a cage isn't a fashion statement.

The bend around the dash on the Cusco/Safety 21 cage makes it less functional in the event of a roll over.


Do they make through dash bolt in cages? That would seem like the best bet, you don't have to cut much of your dash to fit it, its basically unnoticeable.

People always talk about the bend being "dangerous", but there have not been any stories of them bending/breaking/etc. that I have ever seen or heard.

Oh yeah I just remembered, you DO have to modify some interior for the cage. The bars that go down in the back go through the plastics with the "arm rest" area for the rear seats. You'll have to leave them out or use a hole saw to make some nice holes for the bars to pass through.
