This is what is killing the 240sx and it proves why the 240sx is an inferior car.

If I bought a mint roller, built it with the best JDM shit and spent $20k doing that... You'd all be like "bro, could have had an FD or Evo man!"

And when I went to sell for $12k you'd all be "wtf $12k for a a 240 lolololol!??!!!".


Now that pile of shit Mustang shell is already at $8k and someone will dump another $30-40k into it and NO ONE will question that.

So because our community has decided to artificially inflate prices of 240s this makes this price acceptable for a car with somewhere (actual mileage unknown, and proof of odometer discrepancy) around 200K bone stock with a fucked up body kit??

Any car is worth a minimum $400 as scrap. General rule of thumb is reliable transportation is worth $3,000.

Most 240sx seem to fall between scrap and snoozer 1998 Chevy Malibu pricing.

That says something about the car, the way the world views it and its owners.

Look at the price explosion for MK2s, E30s and 911s. Hell even Fox Body's. The 510's and S130s never saw that type of hype when they reached maturity.

They always do. I say that with my car currently having set on that I got for free because I didn't have time to finish up a decent looking custom fixed headlight option.

I'm not a fan of a Silvia front on a hatch, but I've considered it just to have an easy to bolt on custom headlight solution.
