what up im dave my 89 s13 with a s13 sr20det rwd is pouring out white smoke and has a strong smell of gas. Also the car has trouble running and has a boost leak. this car was handed to me after my uncle died cuz it was his car. i assumed that it was the head gasket because he had a spare sr head. so after i found that i took it to get ported & polished and the had bc springs and retainers put in. that was back in the spring the cars been parked up since he died i had it towed to my house and its been tarpped up since. i took the tarp off today to play with it a lil bit and started to think maybe its not the head gasket ????????????????? he also had a top feed fuel rail with injectors in it soooooooooo maybe it has a bad injector? idk but im getting ready to buy a Nissan head gasket kit to drop the new head on but if its something dumb that might be a easy fix i rather do that . like i said i have a huge boost leak going to my inter cooler. by huge i mean the exhaust manifold melted a nice size hold in a rubber hose coming off my turbo idk if that has something to do with this or not. im really learning as im going but any info would help at this point thanks

From zerolift you say . Does that mean u r from the Michigan, Indiana , Ohio area ? U plan on attending drift. Indy or Mdu events ? I love my kouki . But why an sr20 swap ? The ka24det is a better set up . Sr20 are lame as Fuck .

I'm in the Tampa bay area. And I'm not into drifting, I'm more into auto x and road racing. Sr20 is light and what the car was made for. Also a more reliable choice.
