What the fuck? I figured you would have gone with an RB20 cross member and used the stock mounting brackets on the RB26.

EDIT: Disregard...didnt see the page prior where Ramey cut the firewall out. My jaw just dropped again. Are you back from deployment yet?

My question is, whats the plan for the oil pan. With the Mckinney Mounts on the RB25, the oil pan is already touching stock crossmember. So speaking of oilpan, you reusing the stock pan the modding it or custom RB25 pan?

As far as the N1 oil pump...I'm running it on the 25 with no restrictor. I dont see anything funky with it, I'm seeing as much as 7 bar on cold, 6 once its warmed up and no less than 1.8 bar at idle. You ended up going with the Tomei pump right?

as of now going to be running modified stock oil pan. and as far as oil pumps, i sold the N1 a while back and ordered a Nitto oil pump from RawBrokerage but still waiting for it to arrive.

Would it not have been easier to source a crossmember from a skyline and bolt it in using factory style mounts? Or would finding one have been too difficult over there?

i honestly didnt even bother to look, i told BC i was going to order mounts but he said he could make some. i am just letting them go at it and do what they have to do since im in Afghanistan right now.

Wouldnt matter anyway considering how far they're pushing the engine into the firewall. Only thing I'm curious about is how they're gonna clear the stock crossmember with the bulkier RB26 oil pan, with the engine pushed further back. Might have to cut the crossmember and notch it to give him some more clearance.
