::good meet guyz::...really good to meet everybody its been awhilez...too bad they shut the track down tho'... at least you got some good runs in luis(we were all screaming go faster) until your cable snagged...phew close one huh...damn i better win something for cleaning my car throughout the whole day lol...talk about luck huh started to rain right after my car was all clean

this was a very unorganized event and total waste of money and time. we got there early and still waited 1.5 hrs just to get checked in plus the tech inspection. very little track time. from 10am-4pm i ran only 6x. i feel ripped off i wish i had just stayed home. out of almost 40 drifters, there was only 1 lame track layout.

but thats just my opinion.

all i got out of this was race gloves that i dont even want. :ghey:

I told them I was part of a club and they made me go park in Gen parking. I was like wtf? an hour later I came back around and parked with everyone.... Does anyone have pics of the event?

the next event needs to be a little more organized .... waiting in line just to get in was horrible, lost count of how many times i kept starting my car on and off.

i wasn't near the check-in tent, but i hear it was pretty hectic. There were just too many cars. I heard at one point there were 6 lanes of cars trying to get in. And the fact that everyone coming in had to sign a waiver, slowed the process down as well. I think we needed twice the amount of staff to have made it perfect. This was the first event of its kind, so everyone learned something from it.

i knew i saw luis but i was like no way is that luis or huh wuh i was in my own world lol i've got a couple of pics

not everyone though, i was trying to get go photo areas but restrictions i zoomed as much as i could but deng the actual drift action was way back there, i tried to slip into the pits to get closer but still not closer, o wellz it was good playing with the good ol' nikon again.

it was nice bumping into old drivers of touke past events and meeting big jack and everyone jon ray510 and yea coudl'nt say hi to everyone I was scared of the rain ^_^

Thanks for the invite Chris. It could've been worse if you whored this event out to all the other forums. I noticed about 3-4 select forums.
Had a good time anyways checking out the scene and meeting fellow Zilvians. Next time try to have a drag strip going. That would probably be the main attraction. Nissans vs. S2000's. lol

yeah drag would have been cool. We wanted it in the beginning, but was ruled out due to regulations. I am SO glad i didn't invite more forums....i was so overwhelmed as it was. I originally had help organizing forums to park in the beginning, but due to the sudden large crowd at the front gate, i lost my guy so he could go help there. While i was trying to park one group, another would come in and just park themselves, pissing other groups off. I tried to keep the forum area organized, but huge groups kept coming in. We'll definitely learn from this event, next time it'll be smaller or staff will have to be increased somehow.

Did you even have time to talk to anyone? You were cleaning your car the whole time. I heard they gave you the "Golden Bucket Award" and that the GReddy organizers wants to hire as their Official Car Washer for their upcoming events.

hah i had a chance to talk with some of ya'll...just havent had a chance to actually clean my car in over a month with all the bad weather thats why i was buffing the crap outta the car...hopefully i win something*ahem* chris...heck i wouldnt mind being a official washer for upcoming events...parts will be a good payment lmao...
