I'm sure you could get in contact with most reputable mani fabricators and request a vband flange. I like the idea of the twin scroll. And my ebay mani. Lol.

Also are you running a stock sway bar or can i use a thicker bar with the spacers and do the spacers affect handling in any way? Last edited by bansheeracer2003; 01-02-2014 at 10:24 PM.. |

For you guys running stock twins still-
Are you still using the stock BOV setup, or have you blocked off the stock BOV ports and used your own aftermarket BOV or what? I have an HKS ssqv sitting in my cabinet in the shop, and have been debating back and forth whether to run stock until I go single turbo, or block it and run the hks on my IC piping.... |

Sweet! Do you have a build thread? What brackets/mounts are you running? Turbo setup? Please post more pics!

GAWD I want that bumper. I'm also liking how the top vents are cut out, I've never seen it done before but it looks nice.
Looks like you also have air conditioning still?

I don't have any build thread.
I live in Saudi Arabia and this S13 is one of 3 only that are here in Saudi. It was imported from Germany stock. I did some cutting on the front pignose bumper to improve cooling. I did the swap here. Below are some of the parts i Remember: JDM 2JZ-GTE R154 from a Soarer Custom brackets with toyota motor mounts Rebuilt engine ARP head studs ACL bearings Turbo Manifold from Thailand Precision 6266 JB turbo Precision 46mm WasteGate Sard 650cc injectors Apexi Power FC Standalone Apexi AVCR Boost controler ACT Extreme clutch 240sx Koyo Radiator customised by me to fit Evo 9 Brembo Brakes Below are some pics of the car: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

With any of the swap kits, is there any tunnel bashing or firewall work? Or does it just slip in. I already have a W58 for the swap but im assuming the R154 would be about the same overall size.

You don't necessarily have to but I would recommend making some love taps around the starter area. Particularly where the top bolt would sit. You'll thank me if you ever need to replace one in the future.

Ahhhhhhh I can't wait to do this !! lol I miss my s14 , so much info for this . As for my 350, not so much but I guess when I do start this I will be sure to document every move I make as far as wiring , and all around info on what you need . I will definitely be doing this on a budget as much as I can , but we all know how that ends up lol.
Also is anyone running the 350z 6 speed trans with their swap at all? I'm still up in the air if it's worth it considering the amount of money it takes to make it work and the semi limited clutch flywheel combos I've been seeing . |

Does anyone else run a soarer r154 like this:
https://webspace.utexas.edu/rwp248/14xis8.jpg This is what came with my 1j, it sits pretty close to the center of the shifter hole, but anyways... It seems as though the bushings on the shift linkage/bracing are worn out or something because I have quiet a bit of play... Is this normal or what? This setup is so much different than all of the other r154's ive seen... ALSO, What downpipe is "best"? Ive seen people link this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/230910614544...84.m1423.l2649 Which looks really short, and then the drift motion one: http://store.driftmotion.com/static/...ttdownpipe.php I was thinking just running one of these downpipes, and then fabbing my own crossover tube, and then connecting into isis 4 inch blast pipes... |

I have one too. Mine is fine but, I saw a bushing kit for this type of shifter at driftmotion when I was looking for parts.
Welcome to Driftmotion! |

For those of you cutting/rewelding your throttle bodies to get rid of traction control, what are you doing with the coolant passage under the throttle body? Just cutting it and welding the outlets shut or what?
