Wow, what a fun day. Posted some pics from my autox school on saturday at blackhawk farms. My friend's race prepped 510 is in a few pics too. There was one other 240 there (Tony with the stage 4 cams, by the way you pulled that last timed lap out of your ass dude, even with a slide you still beat your best time by a few hundreths) and as you can see my friends and I had a few nissans or our own.

It was a really fun day and my 240 which was nearly stock (exhaust and f/r stb's were my only points, though one stb would have to go for a real race to stay in stock) really surprised me (though the monoform seats let me down as expected, Mmm racing seat), though I was one of the slowest and least prepared cars there. As you can see there was a C5 vette among others and a bunch of steeda mustangs and prepped miatas.

Looking good out there man! If you do a sus upgrade will that put you out of competition too?
Keep up the good cornering, maybe next time you'll get the Vette!

i hope you're not serious about drifting on a real track like that

trust me, i compete there as well, there are no corners that justify such shinanigans

look at the body roll!! aaaaahhhhh!!!!

lol. nice pics.

yeah, curb humping would be for the wussies that want to ruin everyone else's day. no place for that at an autox school, where people are there to learn.

Yeah, I don't think the other racers would have been too happy with me drifting in their line either. I came close enough on my spin in 6, hehe. It's a 1.9 mile track with better than 70mph average speeds, even in my stockish 240. 110mph through the back straight.

I know I wasn't up to near my potential or the car's that day. I was trying hard enough just to stay in my seat.

The suspenison kit would move me up out of stock class. I could still run, I'll just have better competition.

i don't remember what my avg speed was there, but i do know this. i never broke 100 in my old Z32, and only got to about 94 in my 240 (when it was stock). and if i ran a 1:40 and you ran a 1:44, then i think you're speedo is pretty far off. or you are really really fast through 7

just thought i'd clear that up. we'll see who's the better man when i can finally get there in june.
