Mossberg Blaze = Non restricted, not registered, police technically do not know who owns them... Mossberg Blaze 47 = Prohibited - Claimed to be a "Variant of the Kalashnikov AK 47" by the RCMP. Both are the exact same firearm. One has a plastic casing that "looks" like an AK which sandwiches the action/barrel. The other sits in a synthetic stock. At least your government sets the rule you have to follow. With us, it is the RCMP creating fake policies which the government allow them to get away with under the pretext "they know best". For example, the RCMP have recently come out with a term "dual purpose" for magazines. We are limited to 10 rounds in pistols. 5 rounds in center fire rifles. Rimfire rifles are unlimited. Now they claim Bulter Creek 30 round steel lip magazines were designed for the Ruger Charger Pistol and pistols are limited to 10 rounds. So if a magazine is capable of being used in both a Rifle & Pistol, it must be limited to the lowest round count. So all butler creek mags now need to be pinned to 10 rounds or we are in possession of prohibited devices. So the 10/22 was released in 1964. Butler Creek mags released in 1978. Charger released in 2007. So how was the magazine designed in 1978 for a pistol that didnt exist? Government response... We trust the RCMP to do what is best for public safety. I wish we had rights instead of privileges.

Now imagine how much it pisses us off when other "americans" oppose laws that allow us to own our own firearms. Make me sick in my stomach knowing that they would be happy to have all of our firearms confiscated...

Last login was 2011, but when I saw the gun thread... I couldn't help but log in. Now I was always a gun collector, but as the time flew by, I started getting into higher and higher end "normal guns". When I couldn't get my fix collecting $3-7K "normal guns", I switched over to NFA transferable machineguns. I would guess my collection of machineguns, sbrs's, sbs's, suppressed guns and "normal guns" has topped $1mil at this point.
Way too many guns to show off, so here are a few. 2 M16's from the Colt museum. One is a 9mm smg that 48 were registered in late 1985. This one was one of 5 that the one of the bigwigs at colt registered the receiver and put it thru the production line in 2004. I had the option of getting serial number 000002, 000005 or 000009. I chose 9 because 9mm nato was right under the serial #. New in box, wick still in the barrel. 40K gun. Other M16 is also from Colt's internal guncollection. This is 1 of 4 M16A2E4's. Requested by the US Navy. This one is also registered in late 1985 but the bare reciever was put through the assembly line in 2008. As rare as frog hair. Also new in box, 55K+ gun Then there are some micro uzis. I have 2 of 10 made by Lafrance for hollywood. More specifically for Chuck Norris in the movie Invasion USA. These I shoot, but are 25-30k each. Then other random other ones like FNC, Lafrance AK47, 2X AC556s, Full size UZI, M2, and a tooth rattling, fire ball spitting 8" barreled 308 HK51. Then about 85 other "regular guns" Here is a snapshot of a few. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_h9WfAceSOQ

Anyone using a CZ Shadow or Shadow 2?
I switched my Shadow 2 to SAO & while I was @ it swapped out the hammer spring for a 13lbs & the recoil spring for a 11lbs. Question is geared toward the trigger return spring & whether any of you boys down south are using the Cajun Gun Works reduced power trigger return spring. If so, did you find any difference in trigger tension during take up. Or was it more of a smoother forward reset vs a highly sprung reset?

Considering that fact that you should not store your guns with the safety engaged, and I am assuming he pulled them out of storage to show them off, that isn't terribly out of the norm. Now I am not saying that he shouldn't have cleared them, and put them on safe. For a photo-op I just don't see the need to bother with it.

You strike me as the type of gentleman that has met interesting and stimulating people of an ancient culture... and killed them. I judge this by your taste in firearms. Am I wrong to assume you're one of the 'cool guys'?

Hole. Lee. Fuck.
Dude. That collection of transferables is insane. Especially with the pedigree of a few of them. Absolutely unbelievable. Congrats man! I have 3 Registered items, and none with a fun switch. That fucking AC556, omg. Dude. That's unreal. Gotta ask though, what have you done to accumulate the funds needed for such a collection between 2011 and now? lol

Been looking into clip fed semi auto shotguns.
Settled on the VR80 whenever it is back in stock.

Can someone please buy me an SP5. Maybe it's all the 80s movies rattling around in my head, but holy shit.

Is it though?
https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/gu...ks-12-shotgun/ https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/gu...-vr80-shotgun/ The ks12 had issues cycling low brass loads. The vr80 likely will too but most report only during the break in period. Also looks wise VR80 IMO looks much better. You right, my bad. Its a southern thing to call them clips. I'm trying to make it come back. I think it is a great resource for all the new gun owners.

I'm not really a fan of magazine fed semi-auto shotguns outside of competition, or range only use.
I"m also bummed that I didn't have the funds saved up for the new IWI Galil Ace in 5.45x39, or the new Arsenal SAM5 in 5.56... |

The limited edition H&K SP5K-PDW is probably highest on my "I just want it" list. Hopefully the "limited edition" thing is just marketing and they keep producing them. |

I wanted a lynx 12 until I saw the VR80. It?s not like I?m going to be constantly shooting so I?m fine with high brass stuff if I need. I?m am concerned about the shoulder thing though. 25 rounds of shotty seems like you walk home sore as shit. Also. I?m aware gun regulations are the height of gun talk. However this is more of a gun appreciation/information/enthusiast thread. I just don?t want it to devolved into another red versus blue mud sling. If it does not become a shit show like loud noises I?m fine with people debating and talking about it.
