01 is300 1jz vvti
01 Lexus is300 250k chassis.
OEM auto 3.90 LSD diff 18k on 1jz/R154 swap, new plugs, t-belt/wp/tensioner, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, clutch, 3.5" alum driveshaft, Driftmotion pedal conversion, and ss braided clutch hose, GT3076BB turbo, (made 320whp on gasoline @15psi. Haven't re-dynoed w/E85). KOYO radiator, FIC 600cc injectors, A1000 afpr, Apexi AFC NEO, Turbo XS FCD, 255LPH walbro, 95 celica fuel filter, 2.5" aluminum IC piping, Apexi FMIC, Tial Q bov, Tial 38mm WG w/15psi spring, 3" dp, HKS 3" jza80 mid pipe, 4" alum vibrant silencer, 4" mid car back alum exhaust, Prosport Performance boost/water temp gauges. Cusco zero1 coilovers (14kg/8kg) custom 125% stiffened rear sway bar, custom modded/boxed rear LCA's w/inner heim joints, Megan toe, and tension arms. TRD style CF painted wing. 5zigen FN01-RC 17x9 w/245/40's front 18x9.5 w/265/35 rears. All with excellent tread Bought/installed 1jz vvti/R154 swap from Toronto JDM Build thread http://my.is/forums/f219/01-msm-auto...6/#post6519759 I've put 18,000 miles on the swap/car. All fluids kept clean/full. Mobil1 5w30. Lucas syn trans, and rear diff (LSD)fluid. Been super fun/reliable! It has normal wear/tear for 13 yrs old, and 250k on it Hood is/was badly chipped and is filled w/touch up. (see front pic) Front bumper has tear in lower left side. Body is otherwise pretty straight other than a few dings that could, and I may even have PDR'd. CD player will not play cds Sometimes on hot restarts theres a puff of oil smoke. Never @any other time than this is there any smoke/oil consumption. I think the turbine seal is worn on the turbo, and seeping oil onto the hot turbine wheel/housing, and causing this.. Turbo is still working great otherwise. No shaft play. W/this swap I lost factory ambient temp gauge, water temp, cruise, and instant mpg gauge. Car functions absolutely perfect other than these few things I mentioned. Engine is absolutely perfect. 185psi comp. Trans shifts/drives perfect. No CEL. Perfect EFI functionality. Perfectly reliable as a DD, drift, track, or whatever use you choose. Ice cold A/C Avgs 18mpg on E85 w/mixed wot and cruise driving. Cool car/Setup. Slightly surprised to see the car on E85 on 600cc injectors. any idea what your IDC is?
