What up guys I just got a 1990 240 recently n I noticed that when I'm
Driving there's smoke comming out of the boot.
I took the boot off and the little rubber peice to get a better look
And saw that the smoke is coming from in side
The transmission it's self underneath my shifter
I noticed there is a little transmission leak on the car as well
So I thought there might not be enough fluid in it I haven't got around
To check it but I have the car sitting any idea what this may be?

Is the boot ripped?

Its either an Oil mist, or you are low on oil making the gears get hot and burning th oil.
