![]() Kind of just a question thread in oppose to a 'How-to' thread. Just wondering if it's possible to weld a viscous limited-slip differential? If so, what are the differences between welding this and welding an LSD?
For specifics, I may want to weld my VLSD on my 300zx and just wanted to know. Thanks!

what are you wanting? A welded diff is gonna be power on power off the whole time. A real LSD will offer some play in the turns. You have to make a decision on that you want. Most people get weled just because its cheaper. I have a nismo 2 way and love the damn thing because i can park without chirping tires
