So I purchased this car in hopes of turning a profit; thought it was non op'd, but it was half registred and therefore I've got about 600 dollars in back fees to bring it back on the road.

Being the kind person that I am (lol), I want to reg and smog this bitch before I sell it.

I know via a friend registering a MO car out here, that the backfees seem to disappear when you go from one state to the other.

I was wondering if there was anyone (preferably around Reno) that would kindly let me "sell" a car to them (I'd bring it out from SF to there), reg it (I'd pay for all fees), and then transfer it back to me.

Is this plausible?!
