For those who have Nardi steering wheels w/ WB Hubs... how the FUCK do you push on the horn button? I've done it before on an old deep corn, but now with this Classico, I can't seem to get the horn button on
It's because of the stupid A-shape retainer clip, I tried for an hour and from purely muscling, but I think the plastic button is going to break before it pops in

My friend has a 95 s14 and i have the same model/year. His intake sounds gnarly though lol. And you can't even hear mine. IM the one with the intake and he has stock intake box, tube, and exhaust. Been trying to figure out if it's a problem with my car or a weird intake manifold for his. Any thoughts?

I really only searched this thread so far... but, does anyone know the exact measurement/distance between the two mounting holes for s-chassis rear calipers?

Hi, How to get a wire throught the firewall in the s14 on the passanger side? I've been tring to guide a steel wire though the ecu harness gormet but I get the steel wire inside only ~10cm(4inches). Is there a sheet of metal right after the gormet or am I just unlucky??
ANSWER: I was just unlucky. Got it through even with the heater and ABS still in place Last edited by tossaxe; 09-10-2011 at 10:24 AM.. |

What is the best way to mOunt a front bumper turbo duct?
I have two plans...1st is to use only a polyurethane adhesive( lots of it) or 2nd is to builded a bracket then Mount use adhesive to the turbo duct and mount via nuts and bolts with a little adhesive to the bumper. Like the pent style ducts. Just wondering How would the pros do it. |

So these people moved in my canyon and they happen to have an amazingly clean full stock second owner s13 that has been repainted but i dont believe any body work has been done.. the owner really cares about the car hes even avoiding selling it to one of his family members because he said the kid has crashed alot. and so it was his wifes car that was literally just used for like driving to the market or to friends houses etc. nothing serious ... but the price is kinda iffy..
107,000 miles small ding in hood, everything is stock and runs smoooooooth and is automatic.. he wants 3k for it.. its a black s13 hatch chuki. interior is in great condition except dash.. it has a few cracks.. im highly interested but i dont want to low ball him i just wanna know if thats little high ? my current s13 i paid 800 for so i have no idea what they typically go for stock like that. Any ideas ?

I'd pay 3k for it.
Some people pay 5+ for a busted heap just cuz it has upgraded suspension, a few engine parts etc.

I guess you could easily figure it out if you looked at P1's and what offset they are and comparing between the ranges available.

Ok need some help here. My 91 hatch has had a VERY slight smoke for about 3 months. I decided to change out my sticking thermostat one day and after changing it noticed the car started smoking a ton of white smoke. When this happened I thought maybe it was the head gasket. Drained oil...no water. Drained coolant...was completely green. Compression check yielded solid numbers. Searched and saw something online about maybe it being injector o-rings. Just replaced those and same scenario. I don't see how changing the thermostat showed so much smoke. Smelling the exhaust it doesn't smell like oil nor coolant. Only thing I can really smell in it is gas. Any ideas where I go with this next. Oh and I do have an injector bad that I'm about to go replace.

i have those markers so i can tell you the light bulb sizes.. idk about globes i'd assume for molding them you can use bondo/fiber glass for mounting them most people put them in then use hot glue from the back. just hot glue the shit out of it

Is there any vac hoses coming out of that box? I've never seen that before
I love that the kit is a completely different color than the rest. Really takes away from the whole thing. Havnt we heard of paint matching and blending...come on people.

Doing full 5 lug from R32 GTS-t onto S13. Current problem is ebrake cable length and where they mount. Googled and also searched this site. All results are mainly from people using z32 brakes. So I do not know if there are any differences with the r32 ones I am using. I also looked at the definitive 300z brake swap website. Many people say that the info there is incorrect. There is a guy fabricating cable extensions and selling them on nicco. But like I have said many times, it's all z32 stuff.
Question is: What ebrake cable setup/extension is needed to make this work? I have all r32 items including the full ebrake handle and all cables.

How hard is it to convert my RPS13 to external wastegate? Do i just look for an aftermarket exhaust manifold with a flange for a wastegate, and buy whatever mm wastegate the flange is? Then how do i manage the wastegate spring vs the PSI i run?

No sh?t! Just like I saw in all my research! If you would have read my post you would have noticed I already have cables. And it is a noob question cause in all the years I have been doing the Nissan thing this is the first time I have done 5 lug swap.
And this is info from what you say i didnt search: "definitive 300z brake swap" 300ZX brake Swap E brake swap This is a page that should have been written a long time ago.* The e-brake is the most difficult element of the entire brake swap and require more time and research to try and figure out the best solution.* Unfortunately, this page is going to revolve around suggestions rather than a definite solution.

Do you have to loose the bottom pivot bolt on the alternator to tighten the belt?
What is the exact procedure for tightening the alternator belt? (talk to me like I'm an 8 yr old)
