Same thing happened to one of the local guys out here. He put the radiator in and went to fill it and it never held fluid. Called up the guy at CX Racing and asked for a refund and the guy told him "I can send you another one but you probably won't like that one either" Don't buy from these idiots. They're just another gray market shit-shop.

Their Customer service might not be the greatest and their product might suck, but you are paying such low price for a radiator. What quality are you really expecting? I would understand the complaint if it is a sard or arc rad but a CX one?? You really get what you pay for man.

I've bought quite a few things from them and never had any problems. Mostly piping and couplers, but if you are local and you show up to the shop they are pretty nice.
Sorry to hear about your problem though. |

I have a radiator from them that's holding up. You get what you pay for(low cost vs expensive). If you're lucky, you get a good one. I'd just get them to send me another one if that's the best they can do.

This would be by far the minority of CX products, i have put alot of CX stuff into cars and on my own and only had 2 problems ever w/ a manifold. And i mean ALOT. No issues with any radiators ever either. But I wouldnt say its impossible. You're can be bound to get 1 bad apple out of a whole lot, that doesnt mean everything else is bad. There is more to the world than 1 person's experience.
But thanks for sharing, if this becomes a problem with more and more people than its obviously actually a problem |

while i see you point you think a company that is trying to make money, and stay in business would try and do somthing about an obvious manufacturing error, instead of basically telling me to shove it. for example, i ordered an oil cooler from yamato garage, and they sent the wrong fittings for my engine, and were extremely apologetic and did everything they could to help, but just because they tried to help, i will def buy from them again. i will never buy cx racing again, just because they dont give a shit.

Oh i definately see your point too, but it was out of their offered warranty period. If you werent willing to accept their warranty period terms then you shouldn't have bought the product

Bought v band kits from them. only came with half the flanges and 3 of the 4 v band clamps jammed up and fell apart. I did not know you could make a v band clamp this shitty.

I've had their radiator/overflow for over a year now. Ran their turbo set-up for a while and after my engine is done being rebuilt i'll run it again.
The hardware with their stuff is sometimes off, but its hardware a trip to the store and a couple bucks fixes that. Had an intercooler clamp or two break, nothing serious. |

^^ Gentleman such as yourself need to post more threads when you use a product like CX and it works well. I wonder about a few of their things occasionally, but i wont commit to buying because it seems i hear a bad story for every good one i hear. However i do believe it is because consumers with problems are much more outspoken then those with success when it comes to these companies. Point being; I would like to see a thread showcasing your CX turbo setup and information on how its performing for you.
