s13 sr20det build inquiries

well im sure there are tons of places to research this, but i like the opinions of fellow zilvians...and im way to tired to search around ideas...

so here it is, im looking to start from a bare sr20det block... anddddd

im wondering what people's opinions are for exact parts(brands) to make it bullet proof (daily driven harshly if i want) so i'd like to see what you guys suggest when it comes to rods, pistons, cams, valves, springs, lifters, gaskets, etc... oh, and im running a gt2871r w. .86 a/r w. 740cc injectors and i have AEM ems for brains...

What ever you can afford...it all comes down to that ultimately and preference.

Personally:
Bored out 87mm block
CP pistons
Eagle Rods (or carillo if you wanna be hardcore but think Eagles are more than enough)
Tomei Poncams 264
Tomei valve springs or TODA
Not sure who makes decent valves now but BC is the only one ive seen thats being marketed alot
stock lifters
Tomei HG
fresh valveguides
rocker arm stopper
Crower retainers
Tomei Cam Gears (or whatever else you can afford)

Biggest thing here is the actual rebuild. New bearings, oil pump, new gaskets, and the reassembly itself etc.

To extend more range out of the .86 shoot for a higher rev limit, say min 8K.

-Rod's of choice (eagle's, pauter's)
-86.5mm 9:1 Wiseco (coated if you can)
-Solids
-Springs/retainers (BC has been working for me)
-Cossy HG 1.1mm
-Mazworks 1/2" headstuds
-Intake manifold of choice
-Cams (no bigger than 264's)

Most importantly, go sell some body parts and get it dynoed professionally to protect your investment.
