I hear ya...I have a OGl set, but they were a tad bit on the small side so I crafted my own winglets to protect my lip from getting all scraped up going in and out of driveways...

Yeah honestly mine most likely don't do one bit of good. Pure looks. Just something I've wanted and thought would be cool. Had to put a very generous amount of threadlocker on the bolt threads because they had loosened themselves after only a couple weeks of being on there. Haven't had any problems since.
