Need help! fuel pump not working?
My fuel pump went bad so I replaced it with a Walbro fuel pump. I followed this guide to find my problems.
http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=108545 This is my problem now: I followed this part of the guide: "Check your fuse pump relay. Remove the relay. When you look at the pins of the relay, each pin is labeled with a number. Use a paper clip and jumper the 1 and 3 terminal on the wiring. If your fuel pump comes on with ignition, you have a bad relay." I own a 1993 240sx that is manual swapped Now that I have a working fuel pump, it won't get power. When I jumped terminal 1 and 3 with some alligator clips, it now gets power. I checked my relays and they are all working perfectly. But if jumping it with a clip gets it power, it couldn't be a wiring issue, could it? I have no idea what the problem could be now, all opinions, input, or questions will help. EDIT: Just checked the Voltage of the relays and all of them are getting 12.0+ volts while the one giving me problems is getting only 11.5V. Do the relays absolutely need 12V to trigger?
