How do I SAFELY get a sticker off my car - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

You know how dealers always put their sticker on the cars they sell. Well mine is really ugly and kinda stands out, its bigger than the "240sx" and its right next to it. Is the stuff in autoparts stores safe to remove stickers or will it damage the paint? I also have some nasty sap(sp?) that I haven't been able to get off without scraping it off and I don't want to do that.
