Sr20 cutting out at 4.5k rpm

Put back together after a thorough cleaning (worked perfect beforehand) and started up fine, but will cut out between 4 and 5k rpm whether it's revving or driving. Read maf wires and cleaned maf, cleaned air filter, replaced coils and spark plugs, gap is good, BKR7EIX, read coil wiring, checked for boost leaks and added extra grounds just to be safe. Have no idea what is causing this, help is much appreciated

4500rpm to 5krpm I always attribute to fuel delivery first then work backwards.
Ohm injectors out, or monitor them during 4500rpm revs. If clicking stops or pattern because erratic and non rhythmic, probably a dying injector.

If it's all the injectors probably wiring or ecu

So went to go check the fuel pressure it reads 45 psi with ignition on but now my car won't start... It seemed like a dead battery so I charged it and tried again did the same thing, charged it a second time, same thing. So I started looking around and found a blown fuse in the kick panel, and when I say blown I mean the plastic all melted... So now I need to fix this before anything because this is the one labeled for blower/motor

Ok got it started again, fuel pressure is 45 with vacuum connected, 36 w/o. Fuel pressure even stays steady when motor is cutting out at 4.5, so I don't think it's fuel...

So through more investigating I have discovered that it only does it if I use about half throttle or more, if I slowly increase the throttle it will go all the way to the rev liniter

Just in case you are not aware the fuel pressure should be 43.5 with the vacuum line disconnect. This is with the car running. Not saying this is the issue.

Issue sounds to me like a boost leak.

I completely agree that it sounds like a boost leak and I have searched multiple times and probably will search many more times until I find it

And mine does seem to do the opposite instead of dropping when I connect the vacuum line it increases, why would that be?

Sounds like your knock sensor is pulling timing. Same exact thing happened to me when I was sold the wrong injectors and put them on my car
