s14 i need your help please

ok so i found an rb20 with a rod knock for $200 and i was wondering if it's worth buying and fixing or should i just turbo my ka.Any advice is greatly appreciated.

ps. the rb20 comes with wiring harness and ecu but no intake or exhaust manifold

Depends on what your funds look like. You can get a complete rb20 engine only(wiring harness, ecu, intake, turbo, all sensors, etc) from places that import these things for $700, honestly I wouldn't bother with it, you'll need an intake manifold and exhaust manifold and turbo. ..that'll run you 3-400 alone...boost your ka, I have a rb20 it's fun, but really the only reason to buy one over a sr20 is the sound...also there is a small questions thread for stuff like this.

ok thanks for the advice adam. next time i'll post in the small question thread i'm new to the site and i didint know.
