OEM fuel & temp guage not working? help please

okay so basically on my s13 my temp and fuel guage dont move at all. i just wanted to get some sugestions on what it may be. Im thinkin its the cluster just cause, why would my sending unit fuel leveler thing lol my bad not sure what its called, and my temp sensor both go bad. the s13 has a blacktop sr with the original temp sensor from japan. (NOTE THAT I JUST GOT THE SWAP RUNNING AND IM NOT SURE IF THE TEMP SENSOR IS GOOD IN THE SR. SAME WITH FUEL GUAGE BOUGHT A SHELL WITH NOTHING, SO THE CLUSTER IS OFF ANOTHER 240 DUAL CAM I BELIEVE. SO IM NOT SURE EITHER IF THE CLUSTER IS GOOD. TACH, SPEEDO, AND ALL LIGHTS WORK TOO. IM NOT TO WORRIED ABOUT THE TEMP CAUSE AFTER MARKET GUAGES ARE SOON TO COME, BUT MAINLY FUEL GAUGE CAUSE I DONT WANNA BE STRANDED)...sorry for all the caps just wanted it to stand out cause its important info to help my post. thanks

If it's a KA cluster you need to use a KA temp sensor.

As far as the fuel gauge, idk cause mine doesn't work either.

I had the same problem with my temp gauge. My mate had a consult cable lying around so I checked if the sensor was working through the ECU. Which it was so managed to narrow it down to just a faulty cluster. Clusters only take 5 minutes to swap out so try to find a friends cluster that you know works then swap them over and see what happens.
