muffler question?

Alright so This is my first 240..and first exhaust system like this. Anyway, when im riding around i never notice this with other peoples mufflers..



See the weird looking thing inside? Normally when i see other peopels mufflers i don't see it..Other people's just looks hollow.
I've already removed the silencer.

Looks like you have an air filter stuck in there? I can honestly say I have never seen that before, where did you get the exhaust from?

Looks like the inside of my " catalytic converter" I got for my car. Same honey comb design too

thats what it is pulled out....the hair stuff i guess keeps it "muffled"?????? what do you guys think? it looks ugly as **** having that big thing in there...

I'd says either gut it or buy a better muffler. Apexi N1 mufflers are affordable now. I can't honestly say I've seen a knock off muffler look like that
