Alarm goes off every time I open the door!

Does anyone know how to reset a stock alarm on a 95? It was all working fine untill I disconected the battery this morning to work on the headlights. I do have an aftermarket alarm on the car also but I have no idea what kind (previos owner put it in, Its the one with the key that looks like a big headphone jack that you put in and pull out before you start the car). Im thinking that whoever installed the new one somehow disabled the stock one but now that I d/c the battery it reset it or something. Any help would be appreciated.

OE alarm disarms with the key. Unlock it from either door cylinder. If it doesn't shut off, you have a damaged component or wiring issue.
