Timing chain question!

Hey everyone so I'm putting my engine back together and I have a question about the timing chain. So I put everything back together with the marks on the cam sprockets lined up with the marks on the chain, idler gear was lined up too, cams facing the right way and the motor was at tdc. I'll put a picture at the end of how it went on. So my question is that I turned the motor over by and now the marks on the chain aren't lined up with the cam sprockets, but at tdc the cam sprockets and cams are exactly where they're supposed to be, is this normal? I searched and I saw some people say that after you turn it over they should not line up anymore unless you keep turning and they will line up eventually. How true is this?

Am I good as long as the marks on the cam sprockets and cams are facing the right way? And if you can line up the marks eventually if you keep turning it does anyone know how many turns it will take? I just want to be sure everything is how it's supposed to be and I'm hoping it is. Sorry if this is confusing and any help is greatly appreciated.

This is how it was installed and how it looked before I turned the motor:

If it was put on correctly it is right, you have to spin the engine a ton of times to get back to that exact placement.

If you turn it over and it keeps turning over fine you'll know you're not contacting valves.

Are you just concerned you did it wrong?

As stated above if you bend valves you'll know.

What exactly is concerning you, the position of the marks?

What was concerning me was that maybe the marks had to like up after a certain number of turns. But over turned the motor over a couple of times and nothing is hitting so I think I'm fine, just wanted to make sure I did it right.

The colored links are for instalation only, but the answer to lining them up again can be answered by math. Mark any link do a full cycle stroke or a complete revolution and see how many teeth the marked link moves, abracadabra!
