Same thing happened to me sorta, the little pintle cap on the injector broke out, so fuel was POURING like a mofo into the cylinder, ran like crap and blew some nasty gunshot loud flames

Unbolt the fuel rail but don't disconnect the lines, disconnect the spark plug wires, hold it up so you can look underneath the injectors, and crank your motor and see if they're all spitting the same

It's either a fouled spark plug (ruined)

or Failed Injector.

I have had a side feed fail on my Infiniti.

they do break it is just extremely rare.

I had an injector on my sr that would get stuck at times.. It would run great for awhile, then it would run like crap "barely ran at all". Is there any smoke when its running on 3 cyl? Sounds like its flooding to me but im not sure. So injector, or injector o-ring. Or spark as stated above.

p.s. mine was a sr that had the injector fail

I had this problem. Car was backfiring like crazy, idled crappy.. guzzled gas. Black smoked like crazy... pulled injector clip of of the failed injector and no change in idle whereas the others made changes in idle. I guess the injector was stuck open.. maybe it was the cheap fuel I ran.. who knows. I never run anything other than premium in my SR. I swapped that sucker and everything was perfect. BTW, I have a spare injector for you sitting in my toolbox if you need it!

oh so......

i took off injector #4,

The hole was filled with gas and it finally went down after i took it off(so i think its the injector (stuck open?)
also found a riped lower seal

so what do you guys think?
stuck injector?(if so ill toss that one out)
the lower seal wont make it flood would it?

Yes the lower seal will make it flood, because the injector picks up fuel from around it, then meters it into the engine by the pintle.

So the bad seal lets fuel just drain in.

Oh yeah,

Take the spark plug out, and blow compressed air, like out of an air compressor into the spark hole, to get all that extra fuel out (so you don't crank and hydrolock the motor).

And, change the oil after this, as I am sure alot of fuel has drained into the oil now. Raw fuel in the oil can get around the bearings, drying them out, making them wear crank/bearing.
