Front Struts for S13 give you understeer????

Ok just for the record I happen to not know that much about suspension tunning and rigidity to a S13 chassis but will a front strut bar give understeer?? I seen some D1 cars with out one,

play around wiht car set up..

I like having a rear strut tower bar, and no strut tower bar on the front. Yess it will make a difference. But the driver is usually the cause of understeer. so once you replace the driver, your all set.

a strut bar wont make that big of a difference. right now im only running a rear strut bar, and i barely noticed any change when i took off my front for hood clearance issues. a rear SWAY bar will give you dramatically better results to reduce understeer.

I don't know about you, but without my front struts, my car would have nothing for the shocks to mount too. :P

My front Strut bar made a difference in my set up. Its a Carbing strut bar with MCS!! So the brake feel is waaaaaaaaay better. More Responsive IMO.

i've driven my car without one, and it felt like it wasn't feeling the drive. Threw on my buddys for a quick run, and i noticed the difference. Get one.

The stiffer the chassis, the better the suspension does its job.

yeah, just make sure your suspension can do a better job than the stock one if you add stiffness.

yes, everything else constant; adding or thickening a front *strut bar will tend to increase understeer. that is not necessarily a bad thing, depending on how you drive and what you are driving in.
