HKS EVC-S Overboosting

Posting to see if anyone can help. Tried searching but have found nothing.

Background:

Recently upgrade my turbo setup... HKS GT-RS (GT2871r equivalent), 740cc, z32 mafs, 18-19psi. When I first installed my evc-s almost a year ago, the boost solenoid would click when the ign was on and whenever I would build boost, everything worked perfect. Now though, it doesn't click or anything and I'm always overboosting whenever its connected. Not sure when the last time I heard it click so its been awhile but believe the solenoid is either broke or stuck but not sure how I should go about fixing it since I can't purchase a new solenoid from HKS. Havent got any error codes on the display.

Things I've done to try and fix the solenoid:
- Sprayed brake clean in all 3 ports
- Applied 12v source to connector and heard the click its suppose to make

Found on this forum that the plunger?? inside the solenoid can get stuck from cold weather. Does anyone know what this is talking about?

Any help is appreciated.

You could find the specs for the solenoid and buy another one from a different vendor. Take apart the solenoid and clean/lubricate the parts.
