SR20 REDTOP t28r upgraded..... making no power help please

so after getting my sr back in for the third time i upgraded my turbo to an oem s15 spec r turbo.. im using a greddy profec b spec II and my read out says im making 6 psi but the power just isnt there its slowww.. plugs are gaped to .030... i have checked for boost leaks and vacuum leaks there are none.... i am running a draw through setup but because the turbo sits a little bit different than the stock t25 so i cannot run the hose from the bov back into the intake because it dose not reach... so i blocked off the intake hole would this make that big of a difference in power loss??

any help is much appreciate

How slow, is it across the whole RPM band or is it just specific areas? Also if your matching the stock boost I think it's actually supposed to be 7 PSI, not that 1 PSI would really make a huge difference or anything.

Sounds more like your car is freaking out because of the boost like loss of spark or to much fuel. You said third time about the engine, did you change any thing besides the turbo when you put it in? And I wouldn't worry about the BOV tube since any one that goes to a open air blocks that same pipe off.

Also do you have any way to verify that it's making the boost it says since if it wasn't really spooling it would probably feel just as bad

You've checked your compression and all to make sure they didn't fudge any thing on their end?

yep the first thing i did was check the compression because 1 time they didnt mill my head.. and the 2ed time they didnt deck my block so when i got it back this last time that was the first thing i did when i got it running and i got 160 on all 4

so your running a Stock BOV?

Stock BOV's stay open untill the turbo build boost

So the Stock BOV needs to be replace with an Aftermarket one or make the hose reach the Intake pipe

when you upgraded. Did you replace all your turbo gaskets? including the 7layer mani gasket? check for any leaks around the turbo manifold area. also did you tighten your mani to the block as the FSM says?

im having that problem right now with my car in the process of replacing all my gasket and putting on the OEM turbo manifold.

Did you tighten the mani to the block like how the fsm says?

you might need a aftermarket BOV.

are your vacuum lines connected right? like cold pipe to the B.C and wastegate?

Do you have a mechanical boost Gage that you can verify what the turbo is doing?

Take pictures of all your vacuum lines and turbo setup....

Otherwise its just going to be guessing and wasting your time and others.....

Take pictures of your intake and block offs, vaccum lines, bov, and boost controller setup. That will help us a lot.

try to recir. the BOV?

or tighten the bolt on that BOV to make it stiff it could be opening/leaking when you boost..

Hey man, I'm in Michigan. If you really can't get it figured out, you could drive it down here and I could take a look at it. I'm about an hour and a half away though.

Is it making any weird noises? Do you hear the turbo spool? Did you make sure the wastegate works properly?

Basically there can be a bunch of things wrong. Try and be as specific as you can.
