what would you guys recommend for a 26k tranny?

hey, I recently bought a 26k motor/tranny and would like to know what kind of tranny fluide you guys think is good for a low mileage tranny?
I did search and I didn't get any results for tranny fluid for a low mileage tranny.
the fsm i have says to use gl-4, but correct me if i'm wrong, isn't that 75w90?
also, I'm thinking about using penzoil syncromesh but i'm open to anyone's opinions about other brands/wieghts...

thanks, oh yea, i can't get redline because i don't have enough time to order the stuff, I have to buy the stuff either today or tomorrow because the motor/tranny is going in tomorrow so that i can be ready and get on the road to houston for formular d.

what he said. Keep in mind Royal purple makes tranny fluid. well royal purple is bad ass , enough said

man i saw what that car ended up as. rough ending, but at least you got a 26k mile motor out of it.
What year car is it going into? Another S14?

i got a motor from a guy who bought the car from a lady that didnt drive much, motor/tranny is going into my current car...

I just got home and I stopped by napa to get royal purple 75w90 tranny fluid cuz its okay for both gl-4 and gl-5 vehicles...also i was busting my asss trying to find a place that sells gl-4, but there weren't any :(

I'm also gonna use valvoline vr1 racing oil 20w50,....i wanted 10w30 but nobody had them either! :(

let me know wut u guys think...

well, around my area, napa and carquest carries royal purple....those two stores are shiet!... NOB!
