happens. pain in the ass huh?

with your new bolts try using a lock to keep them from backing out

They're studs, not bolts.

May as well take the whole turbo/manifold assembly off and put a new metal gasket on. Then replace the nuts with these...

haha those little suckers are expensive. they work well tho, i bought like 20 of them a while back for my turbo install. they wont back out, just make sure that you put the studs in tight enough and you'll have no problems.

Those things are just annoying. I had that on my shit and it the nuts still backed off. Those come from factory though...so I dunno how tight they were against the nuts.

Still lame if you can just buy the proper nuts for the same price.

I just put alittle tac weld on the nuts so that they will never back off.
It's easy to get the welds off as well. I had the same issue. Make sure you get a new gasket.

true but easiest to deal with with the turbo and everything off the car.

I still used them with my Peak Perf. Manifold
no problems since

Locking tabs FTW...also change your engine mounts. They probably got loose due the engine torquing sideways too much...

Man this calls for an upgrade! At least get Megan Ex. Manifold $169.00http://us.st1.yimg.com/store1.yimg.com/Img/trans_1x1.gif I know a lot of guys that use their ex. manifold and have had no problems.
and while your @ it Megan 3" stainless exhaust elbow $113.00 they come with all new hardware.
