fed up and tired of the bullshit i figured id down the car for the next month or so. im pretty behind on bills to due certain circumstances and it seems like the headaches keep piling on. aside from that cmc being bad, i have a terrible wobble from the amount of playing in my front hubs, steering my car is like trying to rotate a 40 inch tv in your hand. the pump is fine but the rack is just mangeled. my afr's are also a bit too high from my liking.. it could just be an exhaust leak still from my elbow by im hitting anywhere from 12.2-12.6. im just gonna be smart and get my ecu tuned and fixed the gaskets. brakes are getting spongy too, the bmc is leaking, so that needs to go. and lastly im sick of having no e brake! i need 2+2 cables and the bracket.

id actually like to enjoy this car this summer, be reliable and actually get to do some events and not come back on a tow truck on fire :]

cliffnotes for lazy people:
-im broke, car is falling apart, no $ because life
-want to not drive a shitbox and enjoy it this summer headache free

change/repairing:
-hubs
-steering rack
-rust
-bmc
-cmc
-dp, elbow gasket, dp gasket, exhaust gaskets
-rs enthalpy rom tune
-clean up the wheels

s14 hubs are for sale. id obviously replace the bearings but im lazy and my friends giving me his hubs for free. bearings are 60 each at autozone

The bumpers ok but I just wanna start fresh again. The lip is mangeled too which I'm honestly most upset because it will take centuries to find another frp lip or oem.

Everything happens for a reason though. I'm gonna come back crazy and better then ever. The motors coming out next week and all rust and everything else will be taken care of

im excited too lol. everything happens for a reason. im sure i know what direction i wana go with the car.. i just dont wanna have a cookie cut build and play it safe because everyone is doing it for "internet fame" i want it to look good and not worry about how im gonna get to work the next day if things break down. so im sure itll have the best of both worlds.

dont cheap out and do it right the first, you save time and money in the long run.. and get a decent job where u arent killing yourself to make ends meet and build a car lol

"update"

prior to the crash everythings been perfect with the car. hit up a few events, slid the car at night with some friends just about 3 times a week for a few hours, no issues starting or breaking down or anything.
finally got to take a trip down to ocean city maryland with a few of my friends and oh man that place was fun! 5 hour drive, and breaking down on the way -__- the one bump i hit in like deleware i noticed my car decelerating and the wideband reading super lean, the car coasted to a dead stop. long story short, over looked everything and it wound up being my luggage pinching my fuel pump hardwire shorting out and blowing the fuel pump fuse. wound up putting my luggage in my friends car, changing the fuse and being headache free :]

Had a great read. Just the build thread i was lookig for to get me inspired and to keep me going with my 180sx build. I can so relate to your build since im your age and have the same financial problems. Wish i was more mechanically skilled like you though. i know trust me it kills me to know thats there and when i first bought the car none of that was visible. the motor was out twice already and those holes were not there. but to answer your question the cmc had a leak and for some reason even still.. the brake lines are leaking and i dont know why. im gonna change them and see what happens though.

lol thanks. i wish i could say yeah but i guess when i care about something i put effort into it. sadly im still 21 with an undeclared major and absolutely no idea what i wanna do with my life. this car def. doesnt help lol

dont ever get rid of that shell unless you destroy it.. that rust is bad but metal can always be fixed. your car looks badass and i would hate for u to get rid of it over some rust but anyways good luck your the shit

just went through your entire build.....youve just inspired me big time with my s13 and have made everything seem not so bad..lol. hope you get everything fixed and running along with all that plague going on cleaned up. good luck and keep us updated!
